WOYWW #826

It's What's on Your Workdesk Wednesday, time for a peek at each other's desks and projects! We are now sharing through Sarah, at Sarah's Craft Shed.

Hello! Well, March went out like a lion here, with a massive ice storm on the weekend, and now we are expecting another one over the next 2 days. Hopefully it will not be a bad as the first one. But first, here is my desk this morning:

I have gotten into a strange habit of putting everything away before I leave my desk...weird for me!

Last week I was working on making some houses to have on hand, so I made these:

Check out the window in the first house! I used one of my houses in my new journal. I think I will be using up extra fodder from my Fodder School as backgrounds in this journal. Should be interesting and different!

Well, that's in for my art room contributions, I didn't get into my art room very often this week.

I will end this post with photos from the ice storm. The eeriest sound was all day on Sunday, the ice from the trees was falling on the roof, sounding like a giant was throwing and breaking glass on the roof all day long!

That's it for me today, hoping that we don't get as much ice tonight as we did on Saturday! I hope everyone is enjoying a warmer start to spring than we are! Have a great week!

I hope the next storm isn't too bad... I watched a video of trees snapping from the ice in Ontario, I think it was... fascinating, but scary if you were in the way... Happy WOYWW and long may your desk remain tidy after crafting (a distant dream here) Helen '#1

The little houses are fab and perfect for your fodder crafting, I did like the little face peering out of the first window! Wow, that does look super cold outside your house, the ice is beautiful though.

As I didn't get around everyone last week I thought I would try and be early this - it may just be your Wednesday still but it is already my Thursday morning! I love those little houses - and what amazing pitures from the ice storm! Happy WOYWW! Susan #15

Yikes! That ice - so so pretty but not great for the poor trees, when branches snap. Loving the houses. I have enough cluster like fodder to make all the art journal pages for a year, I think LOL! Have you seen the Allison Bomber lesson on painting berries and little houses? After the Liz Constable one of ironed papers it's got to be one of my faves. Might look at the houses now I've seen yours... :D
Happy day-late WOYWW

Love your houses. I don’t think I have heard of an ice storm, it definitely does not sound pleasant! Keep warm. Happy WOYWW. Angela#11

The ice is beautiful but I imagine it was very scary to hear it dropping like that.
Love your little houses, especially the first one with the little person in the window. Enjoy using them in your journal.
Hugs, Neet xx

Now I feel all cold again which is strange because it's been completely different here today, really sunny and warm but not holding my breath as it's a bit early for such warm weather. The little houses are so sweet, love them. Wishing you some better weather and a happy belated woyww, Angela x9x
