Hi everyone out there! I hope you are enjoying Spring weather where you are. This week we've had +10°C down to -10°C weather, sunshine, rain, and snow. But, the snow is gone, it doesn't stay anymore! 

Here's my desk today, with my new painting art journal.

The class I did this week with my painting course was making something lovely from something ugly. This was SO ugly!

I really didn't think I could do it. But then it turned into this...

Ick! Even worse! Then it turned into this...

Eeew! Is it ever going to get better? Then this...

OK, I think I like it now! I will probably come back to it, but it's pretty busy as it is!

Here are Inky and Mittsy playing in the morning. Inky ends up chasing her tail after Mittsy leaves!

Hello to everyone! Spring has sprung, how nice! Here it still feels like winter, although I did see some snowdrops last week in Toronto!

I had a wonderful trip to see my granddaughter, Jasper, and got to see her turn 10 months old! Almost crawling, she actually crawled a few steps the day after I left, but not since! I did no art all week, mostly played with Jasper and helped DD with housework, and read during the downtimes, A couple of walks, a lunch out, some take-outs in, and I got to see what a Good Food box is all about. (The food was really good!)

 Here is my desk this morning, I'm working on a journal page from the Susan Allard course that I bought last week. Something out of my comfort zone - painting flowers and layering! I'm terrible at layering, so I hope this helps that little problem too!

I will probably be working on this for most of the week.

I hope all of you are having a lovely Spring so far! Until next week, Mittsy and Inky say "meow"! And they hope for warmer weather so they can go outside longer, but we know warmer weather brings out the foxes, and Mittsy and Inky will have to train them all over again to stay away!

Spring is on it's way, even though the snow outside doesn't reflect that. But in Winter, beautiful sunny days mean -15° to -20° or more, and it's only -3° on today's bright sunny day! So that's progress!

My desk is quite empty, although that doesn't mean I haven't been working. I'm working in 2 journals at the moment, while one is drying I get the other one out!

Using my new stencil set, subconsciously using the colours of the Ukranian flag, realized it later! But very apropos. I think this one also has something to do with Urkraine, I think we all have our minds on that country right now.

Well, that's it for me today. Tomorrow I am off to Toronto to stay with my DD and Jasper while her DH is away for work. I am looking forward to the time spent with them, I know it will fly by way too fast! I may not post next week, we will see, if I do it will not be art, but Toronto and my Granddaughter!

Inky and Mittsy are looking forward to Spring, they go out everyday for 5 minutes or so just to see how things are getting on. Sometimes Mittsy goes out, then turns around and comes right back in! Inky is a little more adventurous! Have a great week, keep thoughts of peace going to Ukraine and Russia. Inky and Mittsy say "meow"!

Greetings on a beautiful sunny winter's day! We had a lovely snowfall yesterday (I can say that because I don't have to shovel it!), and today the sun is just glistening on the new fallen snow!

I'm sorry I missed last week's post, I was down in the dumps as they say, but I'm much better today! I have been in my art room, here is the view today:

I also finally finished my  Exploding Junk Journal! I will show about 5 pages every week, that should last me awhile!

Well, that's it for me today, I leave you with a snuggly Mittsy from last night, sitting in my lap all snuggled into my favourite blanket!
