I guess I missed our 17th anniversary? Happy belated Anniversary to everyone! We just got back from a wild weekend celebrating Jasper's birthday. Wild time...exhausted, but we've had a day to recuperate! Here is some of the art I did this week:

Jasper and I made a Mermaid photo-op! Afterwards I made a Merman on the other side:

I also decorated the birthday cake, and face painted a lot of tiny faces!

We had the perfect day, and it ended with huge fireworks (it was Victoria Day), which scared poor Jasper and she had to go home. They were very close, VERY loud, and I certainly jumped at most of them! But she did enjoy this:

Hello! I haven't been in my art room a lot this week, but here is my desk: 

I am working on my mother's journal page that I am doing for her Soul Journey Journal. 

It was Mother's Day last Sunday, so hubby got me my annual Mother's Day hanging baskets and porch flowers:

It's still so cold though, that we have to bring them inside at night! I love my porch flowers, always a sign of Spring, and that Summer is on the way!

Next weekend is my granddaughter Jasper's 5th birthday! It is a mermaid themed party, and I am to make the cake and do face painting. Pictures next week!

I was very sad to hear of Neet's passing. I didn't know her in person, but she was always very kind with her comments and I enjoyed seeing her blog. Condolences to her family and friends😢

I am very late today! I had to help my Mom this morning, then it just slipped my mind, but I'm here now. Here is my desk this morning:

There is my Soul Journey Journal on the left, and I am now also making one for my Mom, on the right. I was working on it at 3am again last night when I couldn't sleep 🙁.

This one has a little Tiger's Eye bead on the top corner, my favourite stone.

I thought I would show the beginnings of my Mom's journal, but I will have to ask permission to show the rest of it.

We have been enjoying watching the fox kits grow up two houses behind us. There are 4 or 5 of them, they move around so fast it's hard to count them. They are now big enough yesterday to start adventuring and came into our backyard - under Mama's watchful eye of course! They are growing so fast!

This was taken from our dining room window! Still quite chilly, but at least we are above 0°! When the sun comes out, so do the foxes!

PS: Yes, Mittsy had a mouse cornered under my shoe! We caught it and let it outside away from the house. Good thing I'm not afraid of mice! He was pretty cute...🐭
