WOYWW #403

Another Wednesday, time to peek at each others desks and projects! If you want to know what WOYWW is, just go to  and all will be revealed!

Boy, these Wednesdays come so fast! Here we are again already! Here is my desk this morning around 9am:

I am just starting my next binder of unmounteds - Christmas 2

and here are my binders so far - we are on the next shelf down!
I think I finally have this down to an "art", everything is consistent now!

Last week's journal page:

Only one more page and Journal #13 will be finished!

My Nurturing Nest journal - this page will be one that we do in my workshop! You can also see a pink bag full of bags - these are the bags my mounted stamps used to be in!

Penny and Inky would love to say a few words, but they are busy right now!

So I will say goodbye, and have a great week! I'm off to visit your desks now!

WOYWW #402

Another Wednesday, time to peek at each others desks and projects! If you want to know what WOYWW is, just go to  and all will be revealed!

Happy Day-After-Valentines-Day! I hope everyone who enjoys this day was thoroughly spoiled! I certainly was! The framed card in this photo was my Valentines card to hubby in 2015, at the moment framed and in my powder-room gallery!

Yes, 12 long-stemmed red roses, I always take one and place it beside my bed! He always gives me roses for our Anniversary and VDay! Since he knows I am watching my weight, I also got a teeny tiny box of chocolates - only 3!

Here is the card I made him this year:

Update on unmounting my stamps - I just finished "Celestial"! I think "Celtic" is next. And I did get my stamp from last week to flatten! Yay!

Today, Penny will say hello to you, she was visiting in my stamp room this week!

And now I am off to visit your desk! Thanks for dropping by!

WOYWW #401

Another Wednesday, time to peek at each others desks and projects! If you want to know what WOYWW is, just go to  and all will be revealed!

I have 2 desk shots to show you today, one was taken on Monday, and the other this morning. I managed to get a journal page done this week, so I will start with that:

 just enough room to work!

for some reason I was in a green and purple mood. I used Dylusions spray, Dylusions stamps, and the purple was Distress Ink (my new one from Christmas) and Distress markers to colour her in. The background stencil behind her was one I got for Christmas.

As you have all been hearing ad-nausium, I am unmounting my stamps and putting them in binders. This week I had a difficult one that just was not giving up its black foam, so I thought I would spray it with goo gone and see if that helped. It didn't. Don't do it!

So this is what my desk looked like this morning:

yes, I was trying to flatten my warped stamp. Did nothing, but then I thought "what if I heated it up, then put the weight on it?" That seems to be slowly working. It really isn't a big problem, it will still fit into the spot on the page, and it will still stamp, however, flatter is better!

Here is what my pile of binders looks like now. I am almost at "C"! I did start a Scenic Binder that  will hold a l lot of my scenic stamps such as houses, celestial, trees, etc. Right now it just has architecture and houses.  Below these binders you can see some of my boxes of unmounteds yet to hit the binders.

I am using nice scrapbooking binders - I get them at the thrift store for only $1.99! (1 pound 21 pence?)

Last weekend I celebrated my 12th year on Blogger! Wow! Scroll down to see what those 12 years looked like if you want to! (I would love to have some comments on that post as well!)

And here is Inky, wishing she could go outside for more than 10 minutes at a time. . .
Thanks for visiting! I will now go and peek at yours!

Twelve Years!! 2005-2017

It's been 12 years today since I started this blog! I feel like I've been blogging forever! I thought for this special day I would show something from each of those 12 years:

My journaling style was so different back then - looking at it now, I really like it! So different from what I do now.

And I was doing more drawing too!

Remember 3X3's? This was for a swap, something I almost never do now, but did a lot of in 2007. There are lots of swap things in this year.

Christmas card!

Moo cards!

Postcards made from bar coasters! And lots more things I made and sent off into the world.

 Journal page!

 Journal page

Journal page - I really liked this long journal, haven't been able to find one since

Joined WOYWW on August 1, 2012. For some reason I wasn't writing the number yet, so I don't know what day I started on!

My desk hasn't changed much!

unfinished project I found - my Alphabet Quote Book

journal page

The last time I organized my stamps

 Did a lot of Zentangling!

Well, this was just last year!

So, there were bits from the last 12 years! If you want to see more of any of those years, just go to the archive on the sidebar. It was fun looking back. So many pieces I had totally forgotten about, that had been sent off to someone far away. And I saw a project in there I haven't finished yet - so I should do that!

Inky arrived in 2013, such a little thing back then! Still cuter than ever now!

Thanks for visiting! See you on Wednesday!

WOYWW #400

Another Wednesday, time to peek at each others desks and projects! If you want to know what WOYWW is, just go to  and all will be revealed!

Wow! Today is day #400 WOYWW posts! I haven't posted that many times, but I know some deskers (as we call ourselves) have! Congratulations to Julia who started it all!!!!

Here is my desk this morning, getting ready for my last page of Birthday stamps. At this point I think I've unmounted all the wood birthday stamps, and now I'm finding all my unmounted birthday stamps. This really long stamp has always been a problem - I think now problem solved!
There does seem to be mounds of "stuff"growing up all around me!

Here are the cards I showed you last week, this week I did some stamping and stenciling on both sides:

And I finished 3 cards. I'm doing this with my friend Marg, and she is using clip art on hers, so I thought I would do the same. We are both using words and phrases from the Tim Holtz word books.

The words say 1-Live in the moment  2-creativity takes courage and 3-journey

And I actually spent some of my Michael's Christmas money - buying (cheap) mounted stamps no less! I also had a birthday stamp in there, it got unmounted as soon as I got home. Nice thing about cheap stamps, the rubber comes right off! And a new TH stencil - 2 in a pack - on sale. Some friends of mine just got married, so the sentiment and the Flamingo are for a card for them!

That's it for me today - now I'm off to peek at your desks!
Inky, making sure I'm taking the pictures properly!

Oh! I almost forgot - Feb 5th is my 12th Blogiversary! I will have to go back and review the last 12 years - it doesn't seem that long ago, but it is!
