WOYWW #682

Another Wednesday, time for a peek at each other's desks and projects! If you would like to learn more, just go to http://www.stamping-ground.blogspot.ca/p/what-is-woyww.html. Maybe you could join our little group!

Hello all! Hope you are all having a lovely week! It's been beautiful here, sunny, warm but not hot, lovely days!

Here is my desk today. I really haven't been doing much at all, but thought I might try another flower painting:

And now that my garage is nice an clean, I found some outdoor fabric I bought many years ago for a project I never did, so I decided to make porch curtains. I love them!

                                                                                inside

                                                                from the outside

And my roses!

That's it for today! Short and sweet. I hope everyone is having a great summer (or winter) so far! The cats are in and out all day, coming back in to check on us, then out they go again! So they say "meow!" and I say have a great week!

Oh Linda, the roses are beautiful, of all the lovely things in the garden, a few cut roses really top the bringing pleasure list! We’ll done with the BBC porch curtains, how satisfied you must be to have made them up at last, and what a great job they’re already doing! I wouldn’t be at my desk, I think I’d practically be living on the porch!

The curtains look fabulous and so do the roses. So elegant in the vase. Warm , sunny, but not hot is how I like it. Unfortunately it has been a little rainy here, sounds very loud on the caravan roof! A belated happy WOYWW. Angela #10

I love your porch curtains - the fabric is fabulous and what a great idea. It's been sunny (mostly) but not hot, which is just as I like it - I get much more done! Beautiful roses, and the sketch book is lovely - what a gorgeous rich blue background.
Hope you have a lovely week,

Thanks so much Linda for this comment box.. pop up my iPad talks, it’s okay! and it’s grand. ❤️❤️😊

Wow, love love those porch curtains they’re spectacular at shading it and making it nice and private too, no wonder the cats want outside and your rose is such a pretty one.
Sadly we’ve lost about five roses due to too much rain we’ve been waterlogged year after drought ones seems the way doesn’t it with weather! It changed from year to year.

I do remember years like this before though it’s not surprising me any.
Our roses are due to be pruned mid July … always do mid winter. I’ve bought one new dry-rooted rose called Jacaranda! which I’ll plant in next day or so .. hopefully tomorrow as rain due in evening for few days, we will see how the old chook goes! πŸ˜†πŸ€£πŸ€£πŸ€£
Loved your post thank you.

Grand to chat…
Thanks for Sharing, God bless and keep you safe, and all those you love, hugs Shaz in Oz.x

We have loads of roses winding up thru our trees and I love them when they bloom. The curtains are fab - what a good idea. In are garden we need a wind-break more than curtains. It's been quite blow-y here recently and yeah I could do without that for sure. Your desk is quite full but with just enough room to work. Perfect!
Happy WOYWW next-day!

Oh my goodness, nearly a week late ! Sorry but we were dog house sitting(and I've only just plugged my computer in again)....I don't mean we were living in a dog house just we were house sitting with dogs. (Which I think you would've seen when you popped in last week) Yes the zip wire was fantastic even me being scarrrrred of heights would do that again! So, go for it if you have the chance. I really thought I popped in as I remember your porch, I need a porch! And the garage clear out...perhaps I forgot to press the send button on the comments again! Have a great crafty week, 'see you tomorrow' I'm wondering if I'll make #16 for the 3rd week running! Happy Late WOYWW' ((Lyn))#16
