Another Wednesday, time for a peek at each other's desks and projects! If you would like to learn more, just go to http://www.stamping-ground.blogspot.ca/p/what-is-woyww.html. Maybe you could join our little group!
Greetings to everyone out there! I hope you are all comfortable in whatever weather you are having!
We got our 2nd jabs yesterday, a lucky break for us and now we don't have to wait until July 13th! Just that much closer to meeting our Grandbaby in person!
Here is my desk today:
And my partially finished project. These little things to clip onto journal pages, but I just need the right paper clips. This was fun to do, and I will have a bunch to choose from when I need some decorating done. I like the little paper pad that I can pop into a journal, even take out and journal on a trip, then pop back in
And a Dollar Tree buy for $1.25, I love these butterflies, they are on sturdy cardstock, and so work well on my little clips.
Last week I promised you pics of Inky, since she hasn't been in the last few posts. Here she is on the porch, with Mittsy on the grass. They spend their days either on the porch, or making sure their territory is safe from intruders! They pop back inside every few hours to say hello, have a nibble and a pee, and then they are out again!
Inky in her favourite indoor sleeping spot, on a shelf I made for her in our bedroom window. I'm thinking she might need a bigger bed...
And here she is on my lap on the porch. She often sits on my lap when I'm sitting outside with my coffee or wine.We all say "Meow" and "Have a great week" !

Congrats on the jabs and WOO HOO on meeting your Grandbaby IRL. Fantastic. Love the btterflies (I miss $ Tree - Poundland just does NOT have the same kinda stuff!) and it will be fun to see how you use them.
Happy WOYWW!

Congrats on your second vaccination. Sounds like there were no lingering side effects. I love those little bits of ephemera you are creating. I bought an entire box of the large paper clips at Dollar Tree in the states. I think this will be worth the wait (my wait), since you are determined to get them finished.
Inky looks so good and it's nice to see the two together, too. Cats love any place that seems uncomfortable to humans (grin). Happy WOYWW from # 12.
When ever you mention sat outside with your coffee or wine I always think of your lovely porch, watching the world go by. The kitties look like they are very much at home sat there too. That's a nice little playtime going on, they will look great attached to pages in journals. That's a real bargain bag of Butterflies.
Well done on getting jab 2 earlier.. indeed another step closer to greeting your Grandbaby. Take care & Happy WoywW Tracey 1 x
The pic of a big cat on a little bed made me smile! Bet the cats are enjoying being* outside, even my old boy Ron has spent more time, mostl6 in the shade. I’m so pleased you got the second jab early, roll on seeing your GD very soon!
Hugs LLJ 14 xxxx
Great to hear you've had the 2nd jab, and will be able to meet the grandbaby sooner than you thought... have a good week. Helen #11
Lovely to see both Inky and Mittsy and that is a fun photo of them defending their territory. Thanks for the smile of the undersized bed for Inky.
How I miss the wonderful things at Dollar Tree. I used to love finding different ones as we travelled about and I spent so much money in them it was wonderful, Those butterflies are gorgeous and will serve you well on your clips.
Hugs, neet 10 xx
It's always good to see the kitties and pleased to hear you're a bit closer to seeing the new family member. Wishing you a very happy and creative woyww, Angela x23x
Great to see both kitties again, Linda. I love how Inky has a bed that is too small! I had a kitty many years ago who when she was a kitten, liked to sleep in one of my slippers. When she grew too big to fit inside, she just lay on top instead, until you couldn't see the slipper at all. Lovely to have the porch to sit out on, for both you and the kitties. We enjoy our little patio so much with the umbrella, and Lily and Ruby pottering about, coming to say hello and then going off and doing their own thing for a while! I love the butterflies, and you've got lots of interesting ephemera out.
Thank you for your visit, and for your kind thoughts about my operation. I am managing to get most things done and also fitting in some rest time, and next week should be quieter, I think (I hope!!) - still no letter from the hospital about pre-op appointments etc. so we don't know which days we'll have to go in. I'm glad you like the card I made. I like thos subtle colours too.
Happy WOYWW,

Happy Belated WOYWW. Thank you for sharing the Inky photos. Our Milky is 14 now and we thought she was slowing down. However, for the past week she has been in hunting mode again and bringing at least one mouse in per day! I love how you create so many toppers in advance. I should have a crafty day and use up some of my old stash. Ali x #15
So glad you have had your second jab early and will be able to meet your new granddaughter in person soon Linda. Loving the latest projects and haul from the dollar store. Meow to Inky and Mittsy. Stay safe and Happy WOYWW. Sarah #9
