WOYWW #629

Another Wednesday, time for a peek at each other's desks and projects! If you would like to learn more, just go to http://www.stamping-ground.blogspot.ca/p/what-is-woyww.html. Maybe you could join our little group!

Hello to all my cyber-friends! I'm not sure I could have survived the last year and a few months as well without you! My count is 462 days since I left work due to the pandemic, and I will be counting until I am fully vaccinated, which will be on July 13th! Then I am (sort of) free again!

You are here to see my desk, well here it is. I am in mid-production of my latest project, which hopefully I can show you next week. You saw the first step last week on my desk.

We had Father's Day last Sunday, which I think most of you did as well. Here is my card to my hubby

And from the kitties

(Tim Holtz cats)

We had a Father's Day feast of Take-Out Chinese food - our favourite! We always order way more than we need so it will last a few days!

Now for that project, if you watch Bohemian Crafting videos you will know what this is, if not...

That's all you get for now!

Garden: You have been so kind to me about my garden, thank you. I do not consider myself a "gardener" but over the years things have started to look good! Hubby got a birdbath fountain for the birdbath for Father's Day, it's so mesmerizing to watch! It works through solar power, so on sunny days we get this, and on cloudy days we get spurts...

These Chinese Bellflowers were given by a neighbor last year - so pretty! Purple and white ones

and my rosebuds...are now roses! We don't get too many, so this is the best way to enjoy them

Here are Mittsy and her friend Loki hanging around the watercooler...

And Mittsy approving our new addition, a Spirea bush with 3 different coloured flowers when it blooms!

My DD finally gave me her permission to post a picture of my new granddaughter, Jasper Jane! Here she is at just over 1 month old...smiling at her Mom for the first time (usually she only smiles for her Dad!)

I will leave you with Mittsy at her finest, lounging in bed with hubby and me as we watch Dr. Who...

I will try and get some pics of Inky next week, she's a bit less active and less flamboyant!

The kitties say "meow!" and I say "Have a wonderful week!

A lovely way to celebrate Father's Day - what a feast! It's funny to get a card from the cats too! The garden is such a joy at this time of year with the plants growing so fast! Lovely to finally see a photo of the grandie - how sweet and precious! You'll find she's growing just as fast as the plants in the garden! Happy WOYWW! xx zsuzsa #21

Oh what a beautiful baby! I did chuckle at the idea of the birdbath fountain only spurting on cloudy days! Have a good week and happy crafting. Helen #1

I enjoyed seeing your desk. I LOVE my crop-a-dial. Couldn't punch holes without it. I bet yours comes in handy, too.

I love the garden photos that put my garden to shame.

So good to finally "meet" ypur new grand child. She is a beauty.

Looks like Father's day was all about the cards and the incredible food which is making me immensely hungry right now.

I look forward to seeing your project materialize, too. Mittsy and Loki look like they are discussing the world at large around the watercooler. Happy WOYWW from # 5.

Well, that was a happy post! Your GD is gorgeous, what a smiler and I love that your husband got a Grandfather card too. Your cat made me laugh, that’s a very abandoned pose lol!!

What a great selection of Father's Day cards for your hubby. You are so thoughtful. And what a lovely way to celebrate with a Chinese Banquet and a birdbath fountain.
Not a clue about the results of the Bohemian Crafting videos - will have to tune in next week for an explanation.
The |Chinese Bellflowers are so pretty and I agree with the sentiment re the roses. Left out here in the north of the UK they just get battered by the rain so it is better to have them indoors.
Have a good week
Hugs, Neet 10 xx

Loving your Father's Day cards that's quite a collection. You're not the only one that buys more Chinese than you can eat at one meal, we're just as naughty but it's so nice. Loving all the photos too especially your Grandie. Hope you are having a very happy and creative woyww. Sending hugs, Angela x17x

Love the cars, all so sweet and mark the day beautifully. We, too, celebrated with a Chinese meal, after a few home-made requests for the Hubster. You are a real rease with that project - it is looking interesting and I will hope to see the complete item sometime soon :D no Pressure.... Your birdbath photos made me smile and the roses are gorgeous. Such a lovely post!

Catching up - Happy WOYWW on Thursday!

You have a beautiful granddaughter. I love your fountain, I have been wanting one ever since I first saw them. We saw some the other day on a market stall for £12.95! I was very tempted, but my husband was sceptical so we didn’t. I do love roses, just don’t like the wicked thorns! Which episode of Doctor Who sent your kitty to sleep? I must admit I can’t get used to the lady doctor. I was wondering if you were making a binding system for a journal. Angela #9

Back again! I tried to look for the bohemian tutorial. But no luck! I suddenly thought your “hinges” would be perfect with ICAD cards as I am floundering with that challenge and I have so many to use up! Going to give it a go anyway in the hopes of figuring it out later :)

What a lovely baby!
Super Father's Day cards and what a feast! We always order too much too - Indian, Chinese and even fish and chips. However we have discovered leftover chips can be frozen and refried!
Happy WOYWW!

Aw Linda, Jasper is a joy isn’t she, what a beauty. I can’t believe you’ve had 462 days,it’s been incredible really, like some weird novel. Glad you feel you’ve got through it…from where I’m sitting I agree, thank god for cyber friends, husbands and multiplying families!! I can’t begin to work out what you’re doing with that project…tempted to run over to YT to look it up, but also want the surprise…..!

Happy Very Belated WOYWW. I am catching up with the last few blogs early this Monday morning whilst the house is quiet and I am not distracted by other things. I love those Fathers Day cards. I gave hubby a card with a crochet tractor on it (not made by me!). Sadly his kids and grandkids are not ones for giving cards, so he never gets any. Not like my family, who give cards for everything! We haven't had a Chinese takeaway for a long time - normally go for fish&chips, as they are closer for 'Click n Collect'. Beautiful granddaughter. Our youngest grandchild is 3 in August and I miss that baby stage. I have no idea what your project is. Look forward to seeing more. Now I want a fountain in the garden. Don't think we have a sheltered area suitable though. When the Pembrokeshire winds blow, they definitely blow! Ali x #24

What a sweet little heart throb! She made me smile too!

Sorry SO late. . .SO hot! Our air conditioner broke a couple weeks ago. Right now it is 106 degrees Fahrenheit. I can't get moving to do anything!

Thanks for sharing your precious granddaughter!
