WOYWW #625

Another Wednesday, time for a peek at each other's desks and projects! If you would like to learn more, just go to http://www.stamping-ground.blogspot.ca/p/what-is-woyww.html. Maybe you could join our little group!

Hello everyone! I hope this finds everyone healthy,  happy and vaccinated!

Today is my daughter's 35th birthday! I'm so proud of her, and of the little baby girl she gave birth to last week. Due to the lockdown, we still can't see her or the baby.

2 years old

a couple of years ago

I think she grew up rather well! Anyway, enough of that, that's not why you are here! Here is my desk this morning, I tidied up yesterday, it looks much better now!

Still finding stamps I forgot I had!

A new journal page! I haven't done one of these for ages!

The crabapple tree finally bloomed!

Well, short and sweet today. Inky is fast asleep in the window and Mittsy is galivanting outside somewhere!

Have a great week!

We know spring is well under way when trees are starting to blossom in Canada! How lovely! Happy birthday to your daughter - this means their birthdays are just a few days apart, so May will always be a special time for your family! Lovely photos then and now - I hope you can see your new granddaughter very soon! xx zsuzsa #26

moms should get all the gifts on birthdays. Congrats on the new little one! I have a FB due date in July- DIL and middle son, and praying I will get to be there.

Wow, the years just fly by, don’t they?! Lovely pic of you and your gal, I really hope that you can get to see the new arrival before too long. That’s a very pretty journal page, I’m into pinks at the moment so that really appealed!

Well, Linda, I think your daughter has turned out very well indeed - she looks like you!! Lovely pictures of a lovely girl, and belated happy birthday to her, and congratulations on the baby. Love your annotated desk shot with "all my other stuff" haha! Great face stamps, too, and I love your journal page with the beautiful tulips. Very pretty blossom in the garden, too.

Thank you for your visit, and for your good wishes for my biopsy result, which I am sure will be fine. I'm glad you enjoyed the video of our kitties when they were tiny. We first used the wine rack as a kitty climbing frame with Beatrice and Bella back in 2000. We've introduced the idea to a few other people as well - all kittens adore it! Beatrice actually went to sleep on the top of it once! Kittens play so vigorously and then suddenly run out of steam and drop right off to sleep wherever they are! So glad you like the finished kitty throw - my hubby really is thrilled with it. The new throw is proving really fun to make, as well, especially now I've got the colours sorted properly.

Cuddles for Inky and Mittsy, and happy WOYWW to you!

So sad you can't pop round for a grandmotherly cuddle. Soon, you must tell yourself...soon! Love the stamps - why do I only find rubbish when I am sorting, not lovely gems like those? Garbage in, garbage out , as they say LOL!Oh and I do love a crabapple. Just gorgeous!

Happy WOYWW

love the crab apple tree! I just love the blossom on the trees - it's been beautiful here this year. Your daughter does look just like you - and hope you get to see the baby soon, it is so hard at this time that families can't visit to be together. Soon, hopefully!! Enjoy your journalling! Helen #4

It's too bad you can't visit your daughter, but I hope restrictions will lift soon.

You found some great stamps. I think if I had those, I'd be using them. And your journal pages look great, too. That is a beautiful crabapple. LOVE the blossoms. Happy WOYWW from # 3.

Ah, you and your daughter are alike, I hope she and the baby are doing well. So frustrating that you can’t get there yet, but it will happen, time will see to that! Your desk looks fab, finding forgotten stamps has to be one of the joys of tidying!
