WOYWW #586

Another Wednesday, time to peek at each others desks and projects! If you want to know what WOYWW is, just go to http://www.stamping-ground.blogspot.ca/p/what-is-woyww.html  and all will be revealed!

I hope today is finding everyone well and in good spirits!

Here is my desk this morning:

I have been working on a couple things this week, one is something called "clusters". I used the "one page" method where you build all the clusters on one piece of paper, then tear around each one. Then I sewed across each one.

which is just a way to use up all the scraps that are generated by making junk journals, and are used like this on a journal page:

I am also coffee dying paper as I was running out from last year's supply. I do it outside and let it air dry.

I also dyed envelopes - note: be sure you open them up before dying! I forgot and frantically had to open them all up, most were OK, but some had already sealed shut!

Big step for me yesterday - eating lunch at a restaurant! My friend and I went to a place right on the water and ate on their patio, it was lovely! Perfect weather, beautiful view, almost felt "normal"!

This is on the St. Lawrence River in Ontario, Canada. It's the home of the Thousand Islands!

That's it for me today! Inky and Mittsy are happily sitting in the chairs on the porch, watching "cat TV". They both say "meow" to you all! I say have a great week! Take care!

Never heard of 'clusters' before but can now see how you are using them and am thinking 'what a good idea. It will be good to see your junk journal when you have used several of them.
Looks lovely - the restaurant you ate at. It must have felt wonderful and to be out with a friend too. You certainly got a nice day for it.
Stay safe and well

I think those clusters are fab - they look great in the journal but I think they'd be great on cards too! Shabby chic style. How lovely to get out for lunch, I haven't managed that yet, hopefully soon, the view over the lake was gorgeous.

I love your clusters! I haven't heard of the "one page method" and will have to give that a try. Great scraps of prettiness. The view from the restaurant is beautiful, I'm happy for you that you were able to enjoy ~ Blessings on your week

I have not heard of that method of making clusters, I think I will have a go at that. Are they always done on brown paper? Angela #29

I love your "clusters," Linda! What a cool idea. I love the layered effect and the soft muted colours too. Great work on the junk journals.

Sorry to be so late visiting this week - I'm all behind with everything that's going on!

Happy belated WOYWW,

Hi Linda, thank you for your visit and reply. In answer to your question, the A4 sheet makes two cards, one has a back like any card, the other doesn't but, it can stand up if you leave one or both of the front flaps open, they both need to go in an envelope x Angela
