WOYWW #573

Another Wednesday, time to peek at each others desks and projects! If you want to know what WOYWW is, just go to http://www.stamping-ground.blogspot.ca/p/what-is-woyww.html  and all will be revealed!

Hi fellow deskers! Hope all is well in your little spot on the globe. We are finally enjoying summer weather, and the tress and flowering bushes are finally flowering. It was a long wait!
Here is my desk this morning:

My i-cloud doesn't seem to be working well again, only saving one photo from the many I took yesterday. Frustrating. I had to email my desk photo to myself and save it that way. Grrr.

My lovely daughter had her 34th birthday yesterday, here is the card I made for her, it is a triangular stand-up card!:

Other than the card I've been working everyday on my new journal. It has become a black-and-brown journal rather than a black-and-white journal, as the contrast was too much. No pictures yet, though, I will try and get some for next week.

Garden:

My i-cloud photos of the garden have not landed yet, so I will wait until next week. But here are Inky and Mittsy in the same photo!

And my little perennial garden, you can see how far behind we are than you over the pond!

Anyway, that's it for me, Inky and Mittsy say "meow", and I say stay well, stay safe, and stay busy! Have a great week!
PS-I am showing my previous journal pages on Instagram, one per day. If you are so inclined, you can find me at @lindart61

Hello Linda! Oh, that birthday card is so pretty. I bet she loved it! I too am on this side of the pond and it is finally feeling nice more consistently. Everything is just starting to take off. Take care and enjoy your day!

Hi Linda, nice birthday card and great detail loving the butterflies. Kitties look as though they've seen something interesting. Look forward to seeing the journal. Wishing you a lovely creative week and a happy woyww, Angela x19x

Hi Linda. That birthday card is beautiful - well done. I'm sure your daughter loved it. Yes, thank you, all is indeed well in my small spot on the globe!! I confess to really enjoying this beautiful quiet time. I had all the windows open earlier - and the only sound was bird song. Stunning. Wonderful. Your garden is coming on - things are beginning to show leaf and colour - . Is it normally so much later than things over here?
Take care. Stay safe. God bless.

Your butterfly birthday card is lovely! I’m sure she will keep it forever. Such a treasured keepsake.

Love seeing your kitties. Quite a pair, aren’t they?

Stay safe and well.
Happy Wednesday

How frustrating that your photos didn't save Linda. I like the sound of a brown and black journal. Happy belated birthday to your daughter and meow to Inky and Mittsy. Stay safe and Happy WOYWW. Sarah #7

That card is so pretty - it sounds very complicated to make so I am in awe of your card making skills! Your plants are behind ours but the UK has had two months of astonishing (and very un-British) weather so everything is ahead of itself. I'm having to water our veg beds! In Wales where it always rains!
Hope you get your photo issue sorted,

I love to see messy desks - I guess that's because I work so neat and I sometimes envy the people who 'make a mess'. That card is beautiful, what a work that must have been! I cannot upload pics to my insta anymore (did that with the computer, but they changed the rules and I have no smartphone...) I do have an account still though, so I will find you there to view your art journal pages! Have a great weekend lovely one, thanks for your visit to my blog. Hug from Holland. Marit #25

What a beautiful card for your daughter, Linda! Well done indeedy. Your garden looks lovely too, and so nice to see Inky and Mittsy in the same photo. Thank you for your visit, and for all your good wishes - lots to celebrate! I have to agree - the kitties are still cute despite having grown up (well, sort of... they still behave like kittens at times!) I do hope you try the lentil soup. The knitting project is over the worst now (I hope!) - just started on the first sleeve. I am also working on another one - one of my UFOs, which is proving more challenging than I'd hoped, but I am sure I'll be able to get it right without having to undo the whole thing.

Happy belated WOYWW,
