Another Wednesday, time to peek at each others desks and projects! If you want to know what WOYWW is, just go to http://www.stamping-ground.blogspot.ca/p/what-is-woyww.html and all will be revealed!
Hello everyone! I hope everyone is in good health and good spirits today! I also wish those who are sick a speedy recovery.
Here is my very messy desk this morning:
I am working on the signature of my new journal, which is kind of a "black and white" theme, but I didn't like the stark look of a white signature, (and the paper was too thin) so I chose a better paper and painted one side black. That was also too stark with one side black and the other white, so now I will glue the coffee dyed paper to the white side of the painted pages, and I think that will work well. Hence the spray glue. I have to do it outside though. (It's darn cold out there!)
But most of my time this week was spent at this "desk".
A few months ago I sorted out some of my collage sheets into envelopes by colours. That was fine, but I never used them. So this week I cut all those sheets up, as well as another drawerful that I have had sitting there for literally years. I also have small bags of tiny pieces to they don't get lost in the big envelopes, and the box has small bags of topics, such as children, butterflies, Halloween, etc. Hopefully these will now get used, since I can move them right onto my pages and not have to cut anything out. One envelope has stickers. I still have more to do, but it's almost all done. I do realize, however, that I don't have any birds! I will have to print some out. I also want to make a few pages of stamped images to cut out.
We had our Mother's Day this past Sunday, my DD sent me flowers and chocolates, and we had a nice long Face Time chat in our Jammies, just as if she were home. It was so nice! Hubby bought us a take-out dinner from our local "gourmet restaurant" and we had a nice romantic dinner. Almost nicer than being in the restaurant!
And it snowed last week. Snow! In May! And again yesterday! I can't wait for nice weather to come, I'm so sick of this cold.
Mittsy had a run-in with the fox the other day. Hubby saw it cross the street so went to get the cats, Mittsy had already found it (or vice-versa) She was all fluffed up, but otherwise OK, she didn't really know what the fox was. Hubby chased it off, brought the cats inside, and all Mittsy wanted to do was go back out!
She has never climbed up to the door window before, but she was determined to look out! Crazy cat!
Today is grocery shopping day!
Well that's all for me. Mittsy and Inky say "meow" and I say "have a great week! Stay safe, stay busy!"

Hope the grocery shopping is successful and not too stressful Linda. Sounds like you have been getting really organised with that ephemera and those stickers. Meow to Inky and Mittsy. Stay safe and Happy WOYWW. Sarah #11
Good morning, Linda.
Glad Mitzi is safe! She could have been breakfast! I'll bet she will keep trying to get out.
How did you get a picture of me going grocery shopping? Love it!
Stay well and Happy Wednesday!

The pic of Mittsy climbing up the door to look out is hilarious! She so obviously wanted to get back outside to face that pesky fox down. Glad you had a lovely Mothers' Day, you have a lovely and thoughtful family. Well done with all those scraps sorting as well, a good job done.

Hi Linda. You have been incredibly busy this week, but, as you say... now those pieces are cut out, they are much more likely to be used. Our weather forecast this week for Scotland suggests they may have a smattering of snow too.
Take care. Stay safe. God bless.

Hi Linda, that is one busy desk. How do you manage with so little space. I think it's a good idea to sort stuff out occasionally it helps you to find things you had forgotten about. Wishing you a lovely crafty woyww. Stay safe, Angela x16x
Love the picture of Mittsy looking out the window! We had hail yesterday... but brilliant sun and warm today..totally mad! Happy belated WOYWW. Take care and stay safe, with love & God Bless, Caro xxx(#6)
Sorry for such a late, visit, Linda. It's been a really hectic week. Your desk looks busy, and my goodness, snow! Who'd have thought it... We've had such warm weather that we've sat out under our umbrella for our meals! I hope by this time things have warmed up a bit. Poor little Mittsy - what an adventure! I'm glad she was OK.
Thank you for your two lovely comments - so glad you enjoyed my hubby's teddy card (he loved it, by the way) and thanks for taking the trouble to look at the beehive pictures too. Yes, both kitties adore their daddy - all cats love my hubby. I think they can tell at a glance that he's a pushover and they can wind him round their littlest claw!! He spoils them rotten. As you will see from this week's WOYWW post, my pea microgreens are pretty much ready to harvest now, and they smell marvellous! I am so thrilled with how my sproutings have gone, and we've been enjoying them with our salads.
Happy very belated WOYWW, just in time before the launch of the next one!!
