Another Wednesday, time to peek at each others desks and projects! If you want to know what WOYWW is, just go to http://www.stamping-ground.blogspot.ca/p/what-is-woyww.html and all will be revealed!
Greetings everyone! It's Wednesday again already! We had a wonderful Spring rain all day yesterday, and today the grass is green, the air smells awesome, and the leaves are popping out on the trees! Can't wait for my spring bushes to flower, should be soon!
Today is the day we share our desks, and I really don't have much to share - not to say I haven't been busy, just not in a very creative way. I have been unmounting all my scene stamps - water, trees, rocks, clouds, etc, which takes time, and doesn't show much except more empty boxes!
My desk this morning. . .
I also sorted out all my stencils into photo albums -
Mother's Day was last Sunday, so I made my Mom this card using my new stencil:
My daughter sent me a dragon card (I love dragons!) and a bluetooth speaker for my phone, as she also got me to listening to Spotify the last time she was here. It's awesome! She's such a wonderful daughter! My baby brother and I took our mom to lunch at her favourite Mexican restaurant - she loved it!
My big project this week was making my eyesore of a stump in our front yard into to birdbath! I was inspired by this post on Pinterest:
Here is what I did with it (but it's not finished yet!) This was the planning stage. . .
Then I bought this beautiful bowl. . .
Now visualize beautiful flowers cascading down from around the bowl. . . Hopefully it will be awesome! I still have to fill the "well" with dirt, and plant the flowers. I'm thinking nasturtiums. . .
I can't even see the ugly stump anymore!
Anyway, that's all from me today, Inky says "meow" to all and any cats that are listening!
Have a great week!

Hi Linda, unmounting seems to take forever, doesn't it? Love what you've done with that stump, very clever. Meow back to Inky. Have a lovely week, Hugs, Shaz XxX #10
Unmounting wood stamps is something I won't ever attempt again lol! Talk about a painful adventure. I love your birdbath idea, what a great way to hide an old stump. Thanks for the visit!

you sound as if you've been very busy to me! I am afraid, space saving or not, I will not unmount my wooden stamps, i love them too much.. I am sorry that I have now agreed to swap all my atcs, there are no spares (sad face) maybe next time!! Helen #2
Hi Linda. Goodness - you've been busy. All I had to show for a week's work was empty boxes, too! Different boxes, though... That birdbath is great - and just what they need. Well done - a brilliant thought.
Take care. God bless.

I always love seeing your desk that you mark so well. I always enlarge and read everything.
My neighbor had a tree removed and paid a fortune to have the entire thing gone. I can see why you wanted to cover yours. I can tell you've been very busy.
Bleubeard says "meow" to Inky. And I appreciate the offer to exchange ATCs, but I'm only making two: one for my PIF partner and one for Julia.
Happy WOYWW from #3.
Another busy week Linda. I bet the birds are enjoying their new bath. nice card too. Happy woyww, Angela x23x
Looks and sounds like a busy week to me Linda and great idea with the stencils, I really need to sort mine out as they get lost between other things. Lovely to see the words MOM.. Not many people say Mom it's usually Mum.. Glad you had a good Mother's Day.
Good to see that you have taken inspiration to create your own bird feeder/bath. You will enjoy watching the birds use it as much as Inky will.. Hi Inky <<<waves!! Thank you for sharing WOYWW.

That's a lovely card - I really like it! Love the idea of your bird bath and thought about getting one too, but then I realized it would be just an invitation for Oreo turn it into a bloodbath! I hope Inky behaves himself around the birdies! Have a happy week! zsuzsa #25
Hi Linda and meow Inky, love the card; the stencil from TCW is gorgeous. Great way to disguise an ugly stump too, I can imagine the cascades of flowers already. Have a good week. Sarah #9
