I was in my craftroom only a couple of times this week, but got to spend all day Sunday in there! Got some of my secret gifties done for a 12 Days of Christmas Swap, and of course, worked on my DD's album. Here is what my space looks like today:

This is what I would call "neat and tidy" - there is actually room to work! The two glues are empty, however, so must get more before I do anything else. And yes, I do watch TV while I work - I'm trying to catch up on Coronation St!

 This is my new best friend. I bought it years ago, and just recently found it. I place the PL sheet I'm going to use on the magnetic board, and use the magnets to hold the pictures where I want them. I can move them around, switch, whatever until I'm happy, then pop everything in!

Yes, last week was indeed a busy week!

Welcome back to WOYWW! If you don't know what it is, click on the icon on the sidebar - it will take you right to the source! I have been very busy lately, but did give myself the weekend to play. I'm still working on my daughter's journal, as well as a Christmas gift for a swap coming up. I go to the chiropractor twice a week, but the problem is he is very close to my local stamp store - Marchants! So I tend to go in there afterwards - very dangerous!!

Wow - Wednesday again! So soon! I guess I am a very busy girl - and my desk shows it! I only have a few minutes here and there to work these days, so my desk just seems to get messier and messier! What's On Your Workspace Wednesday - at least it keeps me posting once a week! If you want to know what it is, please click on the icon on the sidebar - it will take you right to the source! This week I made an anniversary card for my husband (29 years!) and worked on my DD's Europe scrapbook. As I mentioned last week, I have discovered Project Life, and although I'm not doing it the way it's "supposed" to be done, I'm having great fun with it. So here's whats on my desk:

 My messy desk, I spelled "Avignon" wrong on this journal card, so have to re-do it. Not a problem! Would have been worse if it weren't PL!

 I made some journal card templates - they have come in very handy. What I really want are some dies to cut these sizes with rounded corners. Do they even exist?

 This has come in very handy. I printed this sheet from the Ranger site and it makes it much easier to find the Distress Colors I need to use. You can also see the little sheet of banners I got at Michael's yesterday.

And these I got as well, not just for Halloween!

What's on my Workdesk Wednesday

Hi! I haven't posted for this for a very long time - tho I've thought about it a lot! Today my workdesk is a mess because yesterday I got an inspiration to work on my daughter's France-Spain travel journal. I had started it a year ago, but just didn't like it. When I went back to look at it, the pages had stuck together. That's not good! I've been eyeing the Project Life journals for awhile now, and I thought it would be perfect for her, then she could even change things around, or add things, whatever. So that is what the mess is all about, transferring what I did in the first journal (the parts I liked) into the Project Life journal.

Just want to wish all the wonderful Canadians I know Happy Thanksgiving! And all the lovely Americans I know - Happy Columbus Day (although I don't think there's any turkey involved. . .!)  So glad to have my wonderful daughter back home for the weekend, the best part of Thanksgiving!

It's October!! Boy how time flies! Everyday I go for two 10 minute walks to get me out of the house and into the outdoors where I can see the seasons change like I never have had time to before! Here are some photos from my walk:

Yesterday was International Cardmaking Day, and while I didn't make a card yesterday, I made 2 today! Both are for birthdays, but I can only show one (wink wink!):

The cupcake is a little hard to see, but very pretty in "real life"!
I used the marker and waterbrush technique over white embossed cupcake. And then I used Distress Ink on the birthday word background, and misted it before stamping. Nice watercolor effect. Actually the first time I've actually liked this stamp! All stamps are Hero Arts.

  I found some very cool large black numbers at the Dollar store, and drew on them in white. Neat effect!

Wow! Here I am again - the very next day! Well, I gave myself the weekend off from business stuff, so I thought I'd do another post. Here is my June 2013 page. Yep, I didn't journal at all between October and June. 

 I went through a lot of stuff during that time, and then lost my confidence in my art journaling. But I think I'm back now. I love this page because I used a tag that I made at my friend Marg's house. I cut it so it would fit, and then used the top part for the left side of the page. I love this tag, and it was very fitting for this post!

We were playing with Dylusion sprays! They have such vivid colors.  The next photo is of my "B" page in my quotes book. The B is glittery, but I don't think you can see it in the photo.
