I have actually been pretty busy lately, as my messy desk can testify - time to do another cleaning up!

I've been sending out a few ATCs. you can see my ATC stamp on the table, and working on my journal - you can see my latest start, up top with the mouse pad on it - I hate it. I am not good with Dylusions sprays yet, they just don't work for me like they do Diane! I'm still searching for the perfect paper I think. The blue spray bled through the pages, and onto my previous journal page through gesso! AAAHHH! But I fixed it:

You can hardly see the blue anymore. This is in Donna Downey's journal, I like the inserts, they add some movement and mystery to the pages!

I have also joined a new challenge call I-CAD or Index card a Day, where we make one index card a day, following her prompts or not, doesn't matter. What it DOES do, is get me into my stamping room every day! It goes for 2 months. Here is my i-cad box:

I chose to use the cards with the tabs because they are more sturdy than the regular index cards, and there are no lines. I'm writing on the back how I did the card.

I love the crackles on the ATC! And all the layering on the postcard! Thanks so much Diane!

Wow - it's been a month since I've posted! Time really flies! Today is Wednesday again, if you would like to know what WOYWW is, just go to Julia's blog to find out!

I haven't really been doing much, which is probably why I haven't posted, my desk really hadn't changed much over the past month. But I did make a few cards and 3 ATCs recently, so here is my desk today:

As you can see, just enough room to work on, surrounded by mess. So . . . normal!|

My favourite ATC stamp that I use on the back of my ATCs. My friend Marg has a new Penny Black stamp that I love, and so stamped off a few pages of it to use on my cards, shown is the one I didn't use.

WOYWW 307

Another Wednesday, they come so fast (and I missed last week!)! If you don't know what WOYWW is pop on over to HERE and read all about it!

So it's a nice sunny (but still cold, only 5C) day here in southern Ontario, but the ice on the lake has finally gone! Yay!

And there are a few flowers to be seen here and there! Can't wait for the leaves to finally pop out! We even had a couple of visitors on our front lawn the other day!

Enough about that, you are here to see my desk - well here it is! A bit bare as I had just finished 3 cards yesterday that I popped into the mail (and forgot to take photos - darn)

It's starting to get a bit messy again, but I think I'm doing a good job of at least having space to work! You can see some white paint on my desk, that is where I did this:

gessoed both sides of these cards, then took them to my friend Marg's house. . .

WOYWW 304

This morning my journal is on my desk drying overnight. Things needed to be weighted down, as you can see!

So this journal page is now finished. It was from my Donna Downey workshop that I am taking. I am still 2 weeks behind!

And, now that March is finished, I finished my March Daily journal page:

 So there it is, another week of my desk! Now I will go and look at yours. . .Happy April! Thanks for looking!

Tag Book Project - Week 3

My stamping buddy Marg and I have been working on a project for the past two weeks, this is our 3rd get-together. We only do about 2 1/2 hours or so a week, so it's moving along! 

Here is week 3 of continuing to work on our tags. There are 10 tags, and one side is painted, the  other sprayed with Dylusions and stencils. We are adding words and stamps.

I am almost done - only 3 left!

I think Marg is done with all of hers.

We noticed something funny while we were doing these - I tend to choose the words first, then find a stamp to match, where Marg chooses the stamp first, and then the words!

Thanks for looking! Next week just may be the ending of this project, if not, then only one more week after that and we will definitely be done!

WOYWW: What's on Your Workdesk Wednesday! Find out more here

Missed last week, but here I am again, showing off my workdesk! I have been able to keep it clean for a month now! I can't believe it! Though I still have a pile of stuff in my hallway waiting to be tossed or brought back into my space. Even the cat has stopped getting into it, it's been there so long! Time to purge!

So here is my desk:

I finally am able to get WiFi in here, so I made room for my computer. The blue bag on the computer is my bag of small stencils.

I have been pretty good at keeping up with my Daily Journal, here is the page I am currently working on, using a crow stencil that I made,

And here is next week's background page.

This week's page is painted with the TH Dabber paints, and it is very chalky. I'm having a hard time writing on it, my Pitt pens can't handle it. The only pen that can is my Staedler Lumocolor Permanent pen, of which I only have purple. I can't find these pens anywhere in my city, just online, where I can buy 10 for $30 + shipping. Bummer. I need (only) one now! Anyway, that is why my crow is purple!

New Stamps!

I won a pound of new rubber from Viva Las Vegas Stamps on their Friday the 13th Blog Hop!  (Thank you so much!!!) I spent the day yesterday sorting them all out and adding them to my database:

After sorting them into groups, I stamped them onto these envelopes which are numbered as to Box, envelope, and stamp. So UM16-1-5 means UM Box 16, envelope 1, stamp #5

There was a small pile of stamps I know I will never use, so I am going to give them away to the first person who comments to say they want them:
