WOYWW # 880

It's What's on Your Workdesk Wednesday, time for a peek at each other's desks and projects! We are sharing through Sarah, at Sarah's Craft Shed.

Finally, Spring has arrived! Lots of rain, and the temperature is going up a bit everyday. A Robin came and sat on the railing right in front of my window, and we had a little chat! She was very fat and happy!

Here is my desk this morning. I am preparing for a new journal page in my Self-Care Journal:

Here is the last journal page (completed at 3am this morning):

I made two birthday cards, on for my SIL, and one for his mother. His is first:

And hers...I found the stamp of her birthday date, and used that for inspiration:

You can see the stamp in the corner!

Well, that's it for me. I'm trying to teach Inky to step on a little "doorbell" to let us know when she wants in or out. So far, a bit slow going. I think it will take a long time! But once she's got the idea, I think it will be very helpful! And then I have to teach Mittsy...

Have a wonderful Spring Day!

Hi always good to see you. I need to try and teach Alfie that I don't need him to help with the typing! He wants his dinner and keeps tapping the laptop to let me know. Love the cards and good luck at teaching the cats too. Wishing you a verty happy woyww. Hugs Angela x8x

Good luck with teaching the cats that skill! They might start ringing the bell when they want feeding lol! Nice cards too, always good to see hedgehogs!

Robins are so cute aren't they and not as timid as other birds either. We had a baby one yesterday which jumped into the shed. Hubby got it out and then it went into the workshop! Hubby got it again and we finally let it go down the garden. So cute. Super page and cards. Hugs Bj#3

Well you like a challenge then! I’m sure that Inky already knows what to do really, she’s prolly just having you on because she’s a clever pusscat! Seriously more worried about you rising at 2am and being capable of making cards! 2am, how much sleep are you getting gal? Glad to hear that spring is creeping in…same here, still ridiculously slow, it’s wet and windy still but the plants are ignoring that so all is looking promising!

Hope the cat training with the doorbell doesn't take too long Linda and that you get some better night's sleep this week. Always a good sign when you start seeing robins in the garden. Meow to the kitties. Stay safe and Happy belated WOYWW. Sarah

Your conversation with the Robin reminds me of Mary Poppins, which was one of my favorite movies as a child. Your birthday cards are amazing, and I especially like the one with the feather. Thanks for visiting my blog and blessings!

I meant to go back and finish my comments, sorry. I love to see a Robin, it lifts my spirits. Great pages and cards. I like those birds and feathers, two things I have not got around to doing for my pages. We had a cat when I was a child, he was quite a character. He would look at you while he walked up to the furniture and rake his claws down it! Since it worked every time albeit with some shouting from my father, he just kept on doing it. 🤣. Good luck with the training. Hugs Angela #9

Inky is how old? No way Poppy would. Lovely cards. So sorry for the generic post - my back is still just too painful for my desk and two-fingered tiny keyboard typing is too much for my usual wordy replies. But Happy quite late WOYWW nonetheless!
