WOYWW #875

It's What's on Your Workdesk Wednesday, time for a peek at each other's desks and projects! We are now sharing through Sarah, at Sarah's Craft Shed.

Hello! Today is a rainy day, meaning all the snow is going away! Yay! We can see our fence again! I missed last week 🫣I totally forgot it was Wednesday until the evening! Oh well...I remembered today!

Here is my desk this morning:

I'm trying to design my own stencils since I can't buy them anymore from the states. Apparently Canada is "overseas" and they can't send anything overseas. I feel so bad for the small businesses like Megan's who are suffering.😢.  Anyway, designing my own stencils will be fun, and learning how to cut them on my Cricut Joy will be fun.

I have almost finished (1 more page) my journal:

I framed two of my weavings, and gave one away for a birthday present (the blue one) and the other is hanging in my kitchen. I found the frames at a thrift shop, I think they turned out great!

I'm also still working on my tiny 3-inch journal:

I ordered some things from a new (to me) company called Taperology (based in Canada, I think shipped from China) and I was very pleasantly surprised at what I got!

Plus a freebie! A few days later I ordered 2 rolls of stamps (like the sample on the bag of houses), and got another freebie! So far I like this company!

I will leave you with this cute little pattern in the snow

Have a wonderful week, Inky and Mittsy are happy that the temperatures are above 0°!

love the bag of houses! such a shame when companies are no longer able to export or send goods overseas easily. Hope you have a creative week. Helen #1

That Taperology company is a good one, those little parcels contain much happiness….i love those tiny houses so much. Time to support Canadian companies rather than USA!

Hi Linda, I'm late today as I had to go out. I've heard of Taperology before, one of the companies here sell their stuff. I am trying not to buy from America if I can avoid it but as most of the stuff is made in China, you can get some stuff on Temu though I do try to support UK manufacture if I can. Determined to do better than last week!! Love the houses, so cute, but booooo to the no shipping hassle. Apologies for your neighbors in the south. Hopefully it'll be better soon. I love making stencils and having them be your own design makes them unique to you so that's a win. I also adore your frames weavings. Fabulous indeed.
Happy day-after WOYWW!
