WOYWW #771

Another Wednesday, time for a peek at each other's desks and projects! If you would like to learn more, just go HERE. Maybe you could join our little group!

Hello! We are having another beautiful sunny day today! I love to see the sun and the promises it brings for the Spring. But I'm sure there will be some more snow before that happens. Here is my desk this morning:

I'm trying to work out a journal page for the solar eclipse coming up. We are in the pathway for a great view!
This week I have been working on finishing my ATC's from Sarah Gardner's lesson in Fodder School 1. Here they are after putting the first layer on top of the backgrounds:

Then there is the second and last layer which finishes the ATC's off:

Now that these are done per instructions, I'm going to try some variations!

On Monday I sang in my women's choir for the first time in a concert. It was very exciting, there were 4 choirs together making 100 people singing! Were were fundraising, and so I made some cookies to sell on the bake table. They made $900 on just the cookies! It was fun, and a good experience for me, I will be doing the concerts from now on! I went through a terrible period where my voice was so gravelly I couldn't sing at all, but now that has mostly cleared up.

Here we all are getting ready to sing. You can't see me in this pic though☹️I am far to the left just out of the shot.

I hope everyone is having a lovely week, the kitties send their "meows", and I say have a great week everyone!

Great ATCs - I was really tempted by fodder school but I know I have so many art courses unfinished already! Well done on the choir, I really wish I could sing as well as I think I can! People give me the side eye even at rugby matches! Have a lovely week. Lisa-Jane #10

What a fantastic experience that singing was. I cannot sing, my Rangers (Girl Scouts) used to fall about when I tried to bring a song I had learned to them. Couldn't have been that bad as they managed to pick it up on their guitars. or maybe they went and researched it elsewhere.
Great work on show too.
Hugs, Neet 4 xx

Wow! $900 on cookies is a great result! Love the FS1 ATCs - I've been bad about catching up on the older lessons but I really must start doing that again. And I did not know there was an eclips due - wonder if we will see it in the UK? Off to google...
Happy WOYWW!

Super ATCs love all the layers. I particularly like the little arches you do and might have to try those myself. Hugs BJ#3

Oh I do like those ATCs, they are just so ARTY!! I used to sing but my reflux problem has screwed my throat and breathing - I still sing but get some v weird looks from my grandson as I descend into a coughing fit halfway through wheels on the bus....... However it must have been wonderful to sing with so many people - the sound!! Have a good week, love n hugs Cindyxx

Sorry to be so late, life is throwing buckets fulls of work at me!! I love that you're in a choir and have sung ata concert, good for you. fun to do with other people for sure, and so nice to have an appreciative audience. Imagine raising 900 bucks on cookies...that's a lot of both. Your packaging was really great. Loving the ATCs too, wow, the fodder stuff has been very inspiring. Hope you get to enjoy the eclipse, and maybe just maybe, the last of the snow has happened? Fingers crossed, although I guess it's still a bit early for that in your northern state!
