WOYWW #619

Another Wednesday, time to peek at each others desks and projects! If you want to know what WOYWW is, just go to http://www.stamping-ground.blogspot.ca/p/what-is-woyww.html  and all will be revealed!

Hello everyone! I hope spring is making everyone happy and hopeful these days (except in Australia, of course, where they are going into the glorious season of Fall!)

Here is my desk...

No art this week, but more organizing of my unmounteds...

I got a package the other day...

Safely in their album, on to the next one! Have you ever heard of the "If You Give A Mouse A Cookie"? Well, that was me, give me one task and I completely take to another level. So as you can see, I cut out the sticker paper and placed the stickers on top of the pouches, something I have not done before, as I didn't have sticker paper before. But now I do. And when I started to do the next sheet of rubber...

with all the cats, I decided to re-do ALL the cats in that album, AND the dogs...still currently working on that...and it goes on. Once I have an idea I just can't stop! If you look on my desk, you can see all the images I have removed from the album, and spreading glue on (because I didn't do that the first time), and will be putting back in their album with a sticker picture of each one. Good thing I finally got my TV working! I had to have the cable guy come into my house (horrors! No one has been in my house in a year!) and give me a new cable box. But now it's done!

Here are some photos from my walk the other day to the 3rd of the 3 beaches we live near. This is on Lake Ontario, looking out from the Canadian side.

And some lawns covered in Scilla

I will have to find out how to do this on my lawn, so pretty!

And here is last night's sunset, much brighter in real life! It looks like the whole neighborhood is on fire!

We are finally getting buds on our bushes, our Forsythia is blooming, and the lilac leaves are budding, spring is here!

Inky and Mittsy had another run in with Mr. Fox, this time he came right up to the porch. I keep the door open in the mornings when they go out so I can hear him, which is what I heard this morning. Inky was twice her size when I chased him off! I'm hoping Mr. Fox will learn to stay away.

Well, that's it for me. Both Inky and Mittsy are having a peaceful afternoon nap (I'm writing Tuesday afternoon), and I will now go off for a walk. I hope everybody has a wonderful week, gets their jab (still waiting for ours), and stay safe!

That’s a lovely lot of new stamps! I think the llama ones are fab, they made me smile! YOu’ll have a lot of fun playing with them over the next few weeks. The pics of Lake Ontario are gorgeous, you live in a scenic part of the world - the Scilla on the lawns are lovely, they do spread well in the right conditions and they looked happy there!

wow, that is a bumper sheet of stamps. I don't like cutting round stamps when they come like that though - well done you!! Love the photo of the scilla, it would indeed look glorious in your lawn. Hope the cats keep the fox at bay! Helen #2

I'm late today as we've been sorting mum's second vaccination and hearing test so at least we've got that done. I'm loving the new stamps they look very useful. Very quriky too and the photographs. Have a very happy and creative woyww. Hugs, Angela x17x

Oh well done Linda, that’s stamp labelling on a slightly epic scale isn’t it! Made me smile that it’s tipped you into re-doing some too, now that’s a whole rabbit hole to fall through! The Scilla lawns look beautiful don’t they, and surely are a lovely sign of the buds and blooms to come. I’ve currently got a few primroses spread across my lawn, so no grass cutting here for sure!

Sounds like a lot of organisation with the stamps Linda but worth it when you have gone back and finished the older ones. The animal stamps are cute - especially the llama. Hope Mr Fox finally takes the hint! Meow to Inky and Mittsy. Stay safe and happy WOYWW. Sarah #7

Lovely organization! I use Tack it (Over and Over)on my unmounteds but I am intrigued by your process - do tell more, please! Love the images - they remind me a little of Teesha Moore's stamps but leaning more to the cute than the quirky. Lovely lawns, off to googlr scilla LOL!
Socially distanced knitting in the garden yesterday so TODAY is WOYWW for me!

Loving all your stamp organisation - mine are such a mess but no time to sort them. The local photos are brilliant - I have to confess that the water looks so inviting for a swim! Happy belated WOYWW. Take care and stay safe. With love & God Bless, Caro xxx (#15)

I've never seen stamps arrive like that. Do you glue them onto the wood blocks or do they act like cling stamps once the glue is dry? Stay safe and keep smiling, Lisa-Jane #8

Fantastically weird stamps! Looking forward to your makes with them. That fox is getting rather cheeky, half of me would like to see a fox in my garden, but I shudder to think my fur babies in danger. Take care Angela #9

A very late visit this week, I'm afraid, Linda. Wow, what a lot of gorgeous juicy rubber stamps! Well done with all your organising. Mounting them is a real pain - not a job I enjoy at all, but so worth it in the end. Poor kitties being scared by the fox. It's nice to be able to let them out - ours go out to play in the garden when my hubby is around, and they are always happy to come in again, especially at tea time!

Happy belated WOYWW,
