Another Wednesday, time to peek at each others desks and projects! If you want to know what WOYWW is, just go to http://www.stamping-ground.blogspot.ca/p/what-is-woyww.html and all will be revealed!
Hello! Such a glorious few days we've had here, sunshine and warm weather, we can even have our "wine time" on the porch! But I'm sure it can't last, we will get blasted with more winter as we usually do!
Here is my main desk today:
My TV, sadly, is on the fritz and I'm really missing it. It helps to have one part of my mind paying attention to the blather on the TV, and it allows the creative part of my mind to work. I've really noticed how much more I have to "think" about what I'm doing since the TV has been down.
But, regardless, I did make my April Calendar page for my Bullet Journal,
There will be a lot of Lavinia this month as I have lots of places in my BUJO for art! Unfortunately I'm not using the fabulous papers that they have, just my sticker paper which is rather porous. But I'm having fun and learning, regardless!
Mittsy is still enjoying her cat TV and asks for it everyday!
It only lasts one day, but there is another on on the way!
Wishing all of you a lovely week, hoping that you have had or will be getting your jabs (I'm on a list, anyway! Just waiting for a call). Inky and Mittsy say "meow!"

Love the Wild Woman and cats sign, I think there’s quite a few deskers that could apply to, lol! It’s very Springlike here too, gorgeous blue skies and lots of sunshine but it’s still chilly to sit out. That hibiscus flowers is beautiful, such a glorious colour! And I love Lavinia stamps, so you go ahead and use them loads!

Great sign!! I'm not sure about the background noise - sometimes I find I get more done when I forget to turn on the radio or the CD finishes. Academic really as I am getting nothing done currently. The hibiscus is stunning - and I like the sound of wine evenings - we're close but not there yet!! Happy WOYWW, stay well, stay safe, love n hugs, Cindy #27
Hi Linda. Wine o'clock out on the verandah - wow. I admit I have just sat outside with a neighbour and a panad (Welsh cuppa), but by 6.20 it was viciously cold, so we gave up and went our separate ways - she across to her house, me into mine. Your hibiscus is beautiful. I had heard the flowers only last a day - how sad. All that growing, and then the beauty just for the one day. Probably a lesson there for us all to learn somewhere...
Great calendar page and lovely card to send to Haiti.
Take care. God bless.

Hi, Linda!
Sorry to be late getting around. Had a doctor's appointment early this morning which even cut short our coffee time!
Did Mitsy wear out your tv, watching Cat TV?
We got our first jab a couple weeks ago and due for our 2nd next Tuesday. It feels like the first step to a new normal.
Love the Lavinia stamps. Do not have any (yet). Do show.
Your hibiscus is beautiful! Didn't realize that there is only one bloom at a time.
Stay well
Happy Wednesday
Kathryn
I always have background noise on - at the moment I have tv, radio and a facebook live for new Paperartsy stamps going!! obviously not really listening to any of them!! have a good week - hope it stays warm for you. Helen #1
Your Lavinia april calendar pages are fab, lovely mix of colour and the card is very sweet too great for a 13 year old. Sorry to read about your TV, I tend to listen to youtube on my laptop when i'm crafting. It's all about the voices and never the vision for me, I hope you get it fixed soon.
The hibiscus is blooming lovely again this year.

Hi Linda great journal pages and love the gorgeous flowers and of course your cheeky kitty. Take care my friend and have a happy woyww, Angela x19x
That sign is a hoot! I love the calendar pages and you lovely photos. I tend to listen to audio books from my computer, but I find I miss a lot of details! Pod casts too, really any spoken word thing suits me. Lavinia stamps are so ethereal and I love projects with them, but they just don't fit my style. I had a trailing leafy frond I loved, but the stamp disintegrated over time. I haven't replaced it...yet!
catching up

I think the sign is totally appropriate! Glad to hear you’re nearing a vaccination, it’s certainly allowing us all to look forward a little more. I love the page in your BUJO, you don’t need the papers when you can make backgrounds like that!
How lovely is that hibiscus?! I'm terrible with houseplants, even the alleged easy ones. Loving that card with the fairy and the cat - makes me wonder what they are talking about! Spring blessings, Lisa-Jane #7
Love the sign Linda - perfect for your craft room door. The Hibiscous is stunning. The new bullet journal pages look great too. Meow to Inky and Mittsy. Stay safe and Happy WOYWW. Sarah #4
You have to get the TV fixed for Mittsy! I can cut out in front of the TV, but I can’t do any serious work, I get too distracted. Great sign for your craft room, have a great week Angela #3
Beautiful flower!!
I am loving all your Lavinia makes...
Happy WOYWW!

Good morning, Linda!
I LOVE that woman cave sign. So fits me. I understand about the TV helping to move the creativitiy. I either have a show on or a music channel. I find I work better at anything with something in the background.
The retreat at the hotel is going well. I have all day today to work on the scene cards for the new book. I'll have pictures next week. HUgs & Creative Blessings! Kelly #29
Lovely busy desk, Linda, and I laughed at the remotes for the TV that doesn't work! Hahaha! I love your pages - beautiful colours and just gorgeous all round - beautiful work. How lovely to have a foster child in Haiti and how could she fail to love the beautiful card you have made for her. So sweet to see Mittsy trying to catch the bird on the TV! Lily is the telly addict in this house, and her favourites are also nature programmes. She watches really intently while Ruby shows no interest at all!
Thank you for your visit - glad the cat bums gave you a bit of a laugh! They do like to shove their bums right in other people's faces, don't they. I'm not surprised Inky isn't that impressed. She's also probably a bit put out that the young whipper-snapper is now bigger than she is.
Home-made oil-free hummus isn't that fattening. You get all the natural oil you need in the tahini (as long as it's just made with pure sesame seeds and nothing else). I am very pleased with my first batch of the chickpea variety as well although I need to add a bit more tahini really - I just made it to clean out the remainder of the home-made tahini from the Vitamix.
I found a sugar-free halva recipe the other day which I will get round to making soon, I hope. It's sweetened with dates, which is much better. It's a darker colour than the halva I am familiar with but I don't suppose that matters. I'm glad my recipes gave you a little trip down memory lane!
Happy belated WOYWW,
Shoshi and the Little Ladies (as Sarah calls them!) x #22
Sorry I'm late, but I'' sure I was here and remarked on your lovely Lavinia stamped cards. Those fairies are te best! I love their toadstools too! Stay Safe, Keep on Crafting, Happy WOYWW!? ((Lyn))#21
I'm anxiously waiting to make a mess on my desk. LIFE !! Some great photos and your flower bud is beautiful. I've 2 on a geranium I brought in and so glad I tried keeping it. It's really been fun to have around. A little late with the visit, but between 2 days of router issues and time away I'm still trying to get printers in sync. Enjoy the weekend.
