Another Wednesday, time to peek at each others desks and projects! If you want to know what WOYWW is, just go to http://www.stamping-ground.blogspot.ca/p/what-is-woyww.html and all will be revealed!
Here we are, first post on the road to 700 posts! It was so great seeing most of you last Saturday on Zoom, what a great technology! We learned how to make our own Washi Tape, which I did while we were talking and I put it into the little book I made while we were talking! We got to see everyone's gorgeous dogs and cats! We got to see what many of you have been working on, and if we looked into the background, we saw a lot of your craft rooms! Hopefully we can do it again!
Here is my desk:
Here is the little book I made while talking to everyone on Zoom. It is made from an empty folder that my Christmas postage stamps came in and was too pretty to toss:
and the little piece of Washi Tape I made
This is not my art, but cut from a collage sheet I got so long ago I can't remember where it's from. It might be from a Somerset magazine insert.
And I finished my latest journal, a lot of you saw this on Zoom, feel free to pass over it all...
another Christmas postage stamp folder booklet
this white page bothered me so there is now something on it...
This journal is a gift for a friend, I hope she likes it!
So that brings us to an end to today's adventure, as it is, and here's Mittsy, being her cute little self tucked into a tiny space beside my bed.
I hope everyone has a great week, and congratulations on the UK getting the vaccine! I hope everyone gets a jab soon and life in the UK gets back to normal.

Hi there! It was so good to meet you at the Crop, you got loads of crafting done and a nice bit of washi there, Lulu would be proud of you! That journal is fantastic, so much detail, that stamp box was definitely too good to throw away. Let’s hope we’re able to meet again soon.
Hugs LLJ 10 xxx
LOVE your book, it's so vintage and lovely. I missed out on the washi tape tutorial, I guess. Was that in the evening Zoom? I only got to pop in briefly then I had to go put up the tree. My daughter is NOT a patient girl. and she felt I had been on zoom far too long already. Lovely to "see" you there even if it was brief and perhaps there will be more of them.
And finally, yes, I echo your thoughts on the vaccine and getting back to normal. It cannot come soon enough for me!
Happy WOYWW! (WowWee!)

Hi, Linda!
It was so good to meet you at the Zoom Crop! And you were so productive, too! I didn’t manage that as there wasn’t any workspace around my computer!
I love your journal. The colors are my colors. I am partial to earth tones.
You have given me an idea. As I am still recovering from the water issue, all of my craft magazines are displaced. I have purged some, but planned to keep my Somerset Studios. I have gone back to look at a real paper magazine forever! Now would be the perfect time to take all those paper samples out! Then store the mags, for posterity, I guess :). But at least, the card would be readily available.
Happy Grandmotherhood! Enjoy! It goes by in a blink of an eye! Many more journals in your future!
Stay safe and well
Happy Wednesday!
Kathryn.
I love your journal! I love the vintage look and your journal has plenty of that!

Well done on making the washi during Lulu's description of it! the journal is gorgeous, your friend will love it. Great to be able to catch up on Saturday, look forward to another go! Helen #3
Linda, what a great job on the washi tape! I still am not sure if I understood how Lulu makes it! It was great fun seeing her and hearing her explanation though! And fun seeing everyone! Hope to do it again soon! Love that you salvaged the empty folder to make your book...it is too cute! I also love your journal and I know your friend will love it too! It is so pretty! Speaking of pretty....Mittsy is quite the little beauty! She needs a great big scratch behind the ears!! Blessings for the rest of your week! Felicia #29
I was so delighted to see you on Saturday, even if you couldn't see me. I have also made washi tape similar to how Lulu made it. I am glad you re-showed your little book, because I was able to peruse it rather than have the pages go by so quickly. Happy WOYWW from #2.
Hi Linda, you're so right it was brilliant on Saturday and can't wait to do it again. I thought I'd never get to the posts today, three deliveries of craft stuff, one delivery of a surprise raffle prize, walking dogs, sorting mum's vaccination, trying to finish some cards and that's without the usual stuff like cooking Lol! Love your piece of Washi tape it's so easy to make like that. Great journal too. Wishing you a lovely creative week, Angela x19x
Loving the little book the cover has a lot going on, and I know the journal will be loved by the friend will love it,
Take care abd stay safe

Hi Linda, was great seeing you on Saturday! Fab idea to save the folder and make a new project from it. The journal is great, I'm sure your friend will treasure it.Stay safe, have a lovely week, hugs, Shaz #12. x
It was so good to 'meet' you, Inky and Mittsy on Saturday. I see that Canada has now approved the vaccine now too. Love the close up of the journal in all its glory. Everyone seemed to be a lot more productive than me. Stay safe and happy WOYWW. Sarah #4
It was so good to meet you on Saturday and you really did a lot of crafting. I love the journal - so beautiful. Happy WOYWW. Take care and stay safe, with love & God bless, Caro xxx (#33)
Sorry I never got to the Zoom, Mr Jinx chose to be sick! So just as well really! I can see it now, poorly cat crafts on zoom! you've been very busy with your scrap pages, I like making the little books and hiding little things in the pockets. Have a great WOYWW week, Stay Safe. ((Lyn)) #15
Hi Linda, just popping in to say happy #601 - I didn't have time to visit earlier! That is a super journal - and how great that you were able to make your own washi tape based on Lulu's live instructions! There are lots of ways to make them - I must get some of that medical tape she was talking about, just to try. I've got a photo of Mitsy on my blog - you were holding her just as I took the screenshot! Have a lovely weekend!xx zsuzsa #23
So lovely to see you on the Zoom, Linda! Your album is absolutely gorgeous - I love those subtle natural colours. So beautiful. Dear little Mittsy hiding herself away in a tight little space! Give her and Inky a stroke from me!
Happy belated WOWYW from Shoshi, Lily and Ruby x #18
Hi again Linda, to answer your questions from last week: I think Galaxy 10 is PearShapedChris? She used to be around before you came on the scene as I remember. Morti is Diane (in the morning session she called herself Diane and I didn't know who she was, but I recognised her by her blogging name, Morti). I'm not sure about Darnell - someone in the States I think. Dave is actually Lulu who has only recently came on the scene, on and off so you might have missed her. She was the one explaining about washi tapes. Looking at your journal again, it's so pretty! I keep meaning to make something vintage looking like that! xx see you later for this week's WOYWW!
