Another Wednesday, time to peek at each others desks and projects! If you want to know what WOYWW is, just go to http://www.stamping-ground.blogspot.ca/p/what-is-woyww.html and all will be revealed!
Hello everyone! I hope everyone is healthy and happy!
Here is my desk:
I got a sample card from Stampin' Up that I liked, so I made it into a Christmas card, using my new SU papers and dies.
And this is another card I made last week:
This stamp is from Wordsworth, look at the capitals in this to see what it says!
Do you celebrate Halloween where you are? It's very big in Ontario, and because of Covid-19, many cities are having to cancel, such as Toronto and Ottawa, but here we are designated "green" and Hallowe'en is ON! We still have to follow guidelines, but the kids are excited. We made up these baggies of candies that look like hands!
Here is my coffee table...
and this is the inside of the box...

Your preparations for Halloween look fun, hope you manage to grave fun despite the restrictions! Love the 12 days of Christmas card, I play that so often with my brass band, but not this year sadly.....restrictions mean we’re probably unlikely to play at all. Fingers crossed for next year!

A nice spooky desk & I love your box! So hard when usually this holiday is very much NOT socially distanced. Imagine it - kids file up to a house, 6 feet apart, shout TRICK OR TREAT, someone opens the door a crack and attempts to throw a piece of candy into their opened bag. Then at home the candy must sit in quarantine for...how many days for paper? for plastic coated paper? Or get wiped piece by piece with sanitizing wipes...
Kinda sucks the joy out of the whole thing, right? :D
STAY SAFE
Happy WOYWW!

Hi, Linda!
I love the 12 Days of Christmas theme! I have that Stampington set. Made an accordion card/booklet with them. Currently working on another 12 Days project!
Stay Safe....not too much candy....😂
Happy Wednesday

I posted an almost identical photo of Oreo LOL! Super cards and stampies - I like all those plants in your living room next to the cat tree. It makes it feel like the kitties are actually sitting in a tree! Happy WOYWW! zsuzsa #9
Oh, the box is so cool!!!
Looks like Halloween has been thought out to fit social distancing where you are. We are in the high area so no trick or treating this year. Love the Halloween cat image and the hand shaped treat holders. Meow to the kitties. Stay safe and happy WOYWW. Sarah #4
Hi Linda. Two lovely Christmas cards there this week. Great use of those stamps.
I personally don't celebrate hallowe'en at all. But here in Wales we are currently in total national lockdown so everyone is being told to stay at home. Only go out for emergencies, food, etc, so no going door to door. I am not, even during the day, allowed to have anyone in my home or garden for a drink or food. However, as I live alone since John died I am allowed to have one family who become my extended temporary family (as my own live 150 and 200 miles away). I had a couple from the church, but we have had to suspend even that, as they are needing to be carers for their grand daughter at the moment, and that would make a link up of 3 households. Against the law at the moment.
Yes, the long Welsh word was the first my mum taught me when I was little. She also, later taught me to count to ten in Welsh, and to make one or two (shockingly) rude remarks!!! However, I love the village name. It has now been shortened on the road signs to LlanfairPG - boring - huh?!
Take care. God bless.

You've certainly been busy on the creative front, Linda. I don't do Halloween - hope the kitties weren't scared of all that creepy stuff lol! Thank you for your visit, and I was amused to read about Inky and Mittsy's antics with mutual washing. I think the fact that ours are siblings (twins actually) makes a big difference. They are like the other halves of each other and probably smell the same to each other too. They do have their little sisterly spats every now and then with hissing (always from Lily) and chasing all round the house (by Ruby) - I think Ruby probably wants to play and Lily doesn't want to! When they start doing it in the sitting room they get chased out and told that this is a grown-up space and they have to behave in here lol!
Thank you for your visit. I'm glad you like the latest completed tiny carpet - only one more to go now. With the bread, I find that freezing it, we eat a lot less because you just take out what you need. It isn't really fattening - it's the stuff you put on it that's the real culprit. I haven't had butter in the house for months now. We eat my bread with soup, and home-made hummus (made from almond pulp after making almond milk - oil-free, really good) - it's not 100 percent wholemeal because I like to lighten it with some white flour, but there are plenty of seeds and grains added.
Happy WOYWW,

Hi Linda, sadly, Halloween still hasn't really taken off over here. But great way to do it putting stuff out on a table. Stay safe, have a lovely week, Hugs, Shaz #3 X
Looks like you'll be enjoying Halloween even if differently to most years! I have those cube 12 days of Christmas stamps too, not got them out for many a year!! Have a good week. Helen #1
Love the twelve days of Christmas images and I like the verse with its hidden message.
Such great preparation for Halloween. We don't celebrate it quite as much as you do over in the UK but it is becoming more popular each year. I have quite a tidy little display now of things I have bought and made. Sadly with being in tier 3 at the moment I doubt there will be any decorations to be seen up and down the area. I might just put some up myself, will add a bit of cheer to our lives.
Happy halloween
Hugs, Neet 13 xx
Good job you mentioned it or I wouldn't have realised there was a hidden message. Halloween on our street has usually depended on how many children were living there but I don't think we'll get any visitors this year. I love your Halloween cat too. Have a happy and creative woyww, Angela x18x
Love the 12 days of Christmas stamps.
Happy WOYWW #BJ
We never used to be much into Halloween this side of the pond, but these days it's become part of the annual calendar. This year it will be restricted here, although for many years we haven't had any Halloween visitors since the kids who lived in our close have grown up and moved away. Some new families with little ones have moved in, so once Covid is a thing of the past it may all start up again!
Your living room looks lovely!
Take care and stay safe

Halloween here is cancelled, good job too as we have eaten the sweets! Love the Halloween cat, did you create that? Have a great week Angela #26
I like your glove full of treats idea! Your cards turned out really pretty. Your room looks very warm and inviting ~ and the kitty wants in! Happy Halloween! Love, Karen#23
Hi, sorry I'm late! Yes Halloween has been cancelled here too, although we don't go into it like USA. (we were there one January some years back, and houses were still covered in black plastis with dead bodies waving at windows!!
A few people in our village got together to go trick or treating where treats were left out side and our neighbour went quite mad and had floating ghosts and flashing lights that worked as soon as someone walked by... Have a great week, probably see you next Wednesday!
Happy WOYWW
