WOYWW #560

Another Wednesday, time to peek at each others desks and projects! If you want to know what WOYWW is, just go to http://www.stamping-ground.blogspot.ca/p/what-is-woyww.html  and all will be revealed!

Hello fellow deskers! I hope everyone is well and happy. We are currently expecting a big snowstorm, after a tease of Spring weather for the last few days. Glad I'm not working tonight! Hope you are having better weather!

Here is my desk this morning:

Looks nice and neat, doesn't it? I just cleaned it up yesterday!

I worked in my junk journal this week, still catching up from the summer. I saw a great video by Eva from Bohemian Crafting that was perfect for this page, and since she made the journal, it was even more perfect! It is a little folder for my Dufferin Island photos, shown closed here:

And open here:
I still need to add photos to the tags from my Kodak Mini-printer. The edges were cut from an extended Tim Holtz die, I thought I was all set to use it as I had bought the long plates, but no - I also had to buy the "sandwich" bottom plate as well! And so I bought another long die as well - a filmstrip, but there aren't any more dies that I like, except the long tickets die that they don't make anymore. Of course.

I also made some yummy blueberry-banana muffins!

I love this, and it is so true! And here we are, just starting 3rd winter!

Canada's 11 Seasons

That's it for me! Short and sweet. Here are Inky and Mittsy Tuesday afternoon - Sleepy Inky and Silly Mittsy!

She gets herself into the strangest places!

Have a lovely week,

Lol at the 11 seasons of Canada!! It can be a bit like that in the UK as well but maybe not quite so extreme. That journal is fantastic, the details are amazing - no wonder you're proud of it, I would be too xx

Hi Linda, wow, thats an amazing journal! So much detail involved. We haven't had any snow here yet- just a bit of sleet. I have that Tickets die, if you would like me to cut some for you and post, just drop me an email with your addy, theres a link in my sidebar. Also, let me know if you have any colour preferences, or if you want just white to colour yourself. Have a lovely week, Hugs, Shaz #6 X

The 11 seasons could apply to Scotland, we are just going through a false spring today and into winter again tomorrow. Summer seems a long way away. Your journal is stunning. Have a lovely week. Elizabeth x #21

I think we are all experiencing the 11 seasons, we've hardly had any winter but the promise of a little snow today which will probably be rain haa haa! Your junk journal is fab, love those pockets holding the tags. I'm very drawn to your button box too, what a great design... I love buttons :))
Hope the storm coming is kind, enjoy some crafty time if you do get snowed in.
Happy WoywW Hugs Tracey xx
P.S Those Minky's on my desk are like a sponge covered in fabric, for kitchen/bathroom mop ups, they are antibacterial. Work great for the craftroom and wash up like new in the washing machine. Hope that helps?

Love the Canadian seasons Linda. We had snow yesterday but it was rather pathetic and soon turned to rain. Brilliant journal. Happy belated WOYWW. Sarah #3

I love journals, both making and looking at. This is a lovely one and so many tags, great! I have just had the same problem with a die of mine, needed the longer base plate even though I had bought the longer plates. Now I am putting it through twice for each one until I get one. Tried with my ebosser but with this back problem the plates are too heavy and just set the pain off again.
Love the eleven winters of Canada, maybe we could do something for here in the north of England.
Hugs, Neet 9 xx

Your album is gorgeous, Linda. Lovely vintage colours too. I love the idea of 11 seasons! It sounds a bit like our part of the UK, actually! I don't think the spring flowers know quite what to do - whether to come out or not. One year we had such heavy snow that it squashed all the daffodils! Duh, they said, we should have waited till REAL spring!! Your blueberry banana muffins look absolutely delicious! I bet they are lovely and moist. Gorgeous kitty photos again! They sound a lot like Lily and Ruby. Lily knows what she wants - she just gets her head down and into dormouse mode and she's asleep, but Ruby messes around, can't settle, tries to get on my lap by the most inconvenient and circuitous route, and likes getting in the waste paper basket! Eventually I think it's the cold that makes her snuggle up with Lily. Thank you for your kind words about my fish picture. I always like to alter things to make them more my own, if I'm not designing from scratch - it makes it more real somehow. I'm glad you like the finished result. I heard back from the hospital again today and I've got another appointment to see the bladder lady in April when presumably she'll go through my bladder diary and decide if I need referring on.

Happy belated WOYWW,
Shoshi x #11 xx to Inky and Mittsy.

Sorry I’m late. LOL at Mitsy, cats really do seem to have a gene that challenges them to get into most any situation and make the best of it huh!! I like the sight of your cleaned up space..ready for more, you do keep up with stuff I must say. The journal pages are awesome...I went through the same with the long dies and felt uncomfortably ripped off to be honest, I’ve since bought a couple more, but that brings me up to about 4...a great outlay for not a lot of use. Hmm. Love the Canadian Seasons chart..sorry that you’re coming into Mud Season..I have to say if it rains here for much longer, even the mud will slide away!
