WOYWW #554

Another Wednesday, time to peek at each others desks and projects! If you want to know what WOYWW is, just go to http://www.stamping-ground.blogspot.ca/p/what-is-woyww.html  and all will be revealed!

Happy New Year!

A bit late, I know, but I haven't been around for awhile. Christmas was great, but just after that I was sick. Sick on my birthday! Then when that was over I got something different. Just getting over that now, my energy levels are just now picking up enough that I can put away my decorations! I haven't been in my craft room for a month, but I got some lovely things for Christmas that should get me going again!

My desk this morning: pristine.
Finally got a Tim Holtz glass mat! Excited! But bigger than my mat before so I had to move my tiered basket.

Christmas presents from hubby and DD:

And birthday presents from hubby, DD and Mom:

 chosen with love by hubby...

I have wanted these for years!

And finally the big pressie for the cats:

They are still getting used to it...

That's all for now, I will go and catch up on what you wonderful people have been up to! Meow from the cats, and have a great week from me!

I'm sorry to hear that you have been ill, especially on your birthday as it is always so disappointing - there is so much of it about at the moment, so many people seem to have been ill recently. I am loving all your goodies - what a lovely selection you have to play with when you feel well enough. Happy WOYWW. I hope you have a good week. With love & God Bless, Caro xxx (#5)

Well, Father Christmas certainly had his sack full when he called at your house. What a lovely array of presents you got - the cats too. Then Mother Birthday came and it all kicked off again with present giving - what a lovely time, apart from being ill, you had. Hope the gifts cheered you up a bit when you were feeling rough.
Hugs, Neet 6 xx
ps hope you are feeling better each day

Sorry to hear you were poorly on your birthday. I am just getting over a winter bug too, so can fully sympathise with that low energy feeling! But how lovely to receive all those gorgeous presents, especially the things you have been hankering after for years! Have lots of fun trying them out!

Sorry to hear you've been poorly, Linda, especially over your birthday, but very glad to see how well you've been looked after present-wise! Gorgeous new stash. I'm glad they give you separate stuff for Christmas and birthday if they are so close together. So you've got the glass media mat too! My hubby gave me mine for Christmas and it's brilliant. I hope your kitties enjoy their new cat tree as much as ours enjoy theirs. Mostly Ruby goes to sleep on it and they do use the scratching posts (when they can be persuaded not to use the carpet grrrr) but they had a huge amount of fun on it when they were kittens. Thank you for your lovely comment and your good wishes for my health. I am feeling a lot better today and have made some biscuits, and later I am going back in the studio for another session which I hope will be more successful than the last one!! I am very pleased with the flower book and progressing quite well transferring the designs to cuttable files. I've got some other similar design books which I must use as well.

Purrs from Lily and Ruby to Inky and Mittsy.

Happy belated WOYWW,
