WOYWW #510

Another Wednesday, time to peek at each others desks and projects! If you want to know what WOYWW is, just go to http://www.stamping-ground.blogspot.ca/p/what-is-woyww.html  and all will be revealed!

Greetings to all on another Wednesday morning!
I have to apologize for not making the rounds this week, I was only able to reply to visits to my blog yesterday! It's been a very busy week, mostly work and exhaustion. I also didn't get into my stamping room more than once last week. But here it is:

Not much happening!
But I did manage to finish my journal page. . .

This was from a Carolyn Dube Art Prompt to use papers that you have made, so I used up my gelli prints, need to make more now! You can see where I used the doily stencil.

Since I showed you a view last week from my door, I thought I would turn it around and show the view to the door:

What a mess!

Here are Hubby and I at a friend's wedding last Saturday night! My first "little black dress". In the last few years I have gone from a size 26 to size 14!

And here is a rare view (not seen since this was taken) of Inky and Mittsy sleeping together - bodies touching! Progress! Mittsy is on the left.

Mittsy has also taken to chasing the shadows on the wall over my Computer desk, so cute until she knocks down one of the paintings. . .

Well, that's it for us this week. Still cold, still snow on the ground, but now we are in Daylight Savings time so we get the sun more in the evenings. And the sun is warmer, so Spring is on it's way!

Have a great week, I will try to get to more of you this week!

Your desk looks nice and busy! Perhaps you'll have more playing time this coming week. I had to squint to see where one cat started and the other left off. Nice that they are getting used to eachother!!

Congrats on the weight loss. I really need to figure something out for myself!!!

Happy WOYWW

Hi Linda. Some great shots today - good to see your room and imagine you sitting there crafting. Well done on the journal page. That is some impressive size loss, lass. Did you diet hard, or how did you manage it?
In answer to your thoughts and comments - no I'm not really a night owl - I'm actually more of a lark. Mornings I can be really busy - normally by late afternoon and evening I am totally washed out - it was just that I had been busy all evening and needed to write my post... Yes, the baubles are indeed still hanging around - still haven't managed to get into the roof space behind all my drawers. I'll have to soon though, as a friend said to me this evening that she "still had some of my Christmas decorations"> We had taken a whole load down to decorate the church - and she had taken some of mine..
Take care. God bless.

Changing the clocks and lengthening the day really helps and sets your mind to Spring, huh. You lot have had a hard winter so I hope the dry and warm shows up on my way very soon. Love that doily stencil, also the dots of white against the one edge of the figure, clever touch that. Nice to see the room view (and Cap’n Jack), its not a mess to me, would love to come and have a rummage!

The pages are fabulous - I love the backgrounds, they are quite spectacular and the figure really gives it all a theatrical feel. Congratulations on your weight loss, you look fab in your little black dress - you and your hubby make a handsome couple. I'm loving your craft room, all that stash plus Captain Jack too - heaven!! When Julia comes to have a rummage can I come too please!!
Hope you have a great week and thank you for stopping by my desk earlier,

I love this peek into your colorful room (notice I don't call it 'messy'? Rooms like that are never 'messy', just inspiring!) Congrats on the weight loss, since 5 years I am gaining weight (menopause) - a thing I never had to deal with before, and it's hard to get it down so HOORAY for you for the loss. The little black dress looks awesome on you! I wish you a wonderful, cosy and relaxing Sunday! Hug from Holland. Marit #19
