WOYWW #507

Another Wednesday, time to peek at each others desks and projects! If you want to know what WOYWW is, just go to http://www.stamping-ground.blogspot.ca/p/what-is-woyww.html  and all will be revealed!

Hello everyone! This will be a quick post, as I have to meet my mother for lunch very soon!
Here is my desk this morning. We were away in Montreal this weekend, so I really haven't done much this week, but I do have a couple of things to show. My desk this morning:

The card I made using my new 3-D Texture Fade Embossing folder

My journal page from Carol Dube's prompt "rectangles". I did "found poetry" using a TH  booklet of phrases. Here are the doors closed. . .
and opened. The poem starts at the top with My Sweetheart, then in door #1 The big moon shines in the sky. THE STARS ARE ALWAYS SHINING.
Door #2: I dream of stars that glitter by the light of the moon Door #3:And voices soft and sweet. Remind me of the happiness... no regret
at the bottom: For thy sweet love rememb'red

We went to Montreal on the weekend! This is pretty much what the stairs looked like leading up to my BIL's house!
One of the best parts was visiting Duc de Lorraine, a fantastic pastry shop!

Oh my - so hard to choose! But I did and it was delicious!

So that's it for me today, the cats are snoozing somewhere in the house, they did not kill each other while we were away (whew!). Hope you all have a wonderful week!

What fab photos!! I love Tim Holtz's stuff - I wouldn't be without my scissors! And is there anything finer in the whole world than French patisserie? I think not :)
Happy WOYWW!

Gosh, I’m sorry the hot glue gun cure didn’t work for your boot sole, not too convenient for a weekend in a snowy city! The pastry shop looks sublime. I love the doors in the journal, they are a ‘thing’ for me!

Lovely desk, lovely card but the journal - that is a WOW from me! I love doors and you have made a fabulous spread - with opening doors too!! Love the colours you chose, they work perfectly.
Then you treat us to a snowy staircase followed by the most delicious pastries in Montreal - a great blog post Linda.
Hugs to the hidden cats and you of course.

Happy Very Belated WOYWW. Now I can't get those amazing pastries out of my head! There are shops like that in Spain and it is always difficult to choose. Proper snow in Montreal. I grew up with depths like that, but in Pembrokeshire we don't get much at all. Ali x #26

Pretty weird, to see snowy pictures while we have Spring-temperatures in the Netherlands.... I do love your journal, found poetry is so nice and relaxing to work with, I should do that more often too. Thanks for your visit, I myself am late too so I wish you a beautiful Sunday!
