WOYWW #493

Another Wednesday, time to peek at each others desks and projects! If you want to know what WOYWW is, just go to http://www.stamping-ground.blogspot.ca/p/what-is-woyww.html  and all will be revealed!

Hello everyone! It's getting colder here in Southern Ontario - this morning we were at -7°C! Looks like we may be getting an early winter, but we all hope it will go away for a month or so!

This will be a very short post today, as I can't show you most of what I've been working on this week (Christmas present for DD!). Just to say step one is finished, and I can now start on step 2.

Here is my desk this morning (I took all incriminating evidence of my project away):

Working on the insides of my cards, usually I don't do the insides at the time that I do the outsides!

Inky is now spending shorter times outside - today she wouldn't go out at all! Lucky for her, she has a nice perch on the back of my favourite chair, right in front of the window, with a good view of the bird feeder (Cat TV!)

Have a wonderful week from me, and "meow" from Inky!

I don't blame Inky for staying indoors if it's that cold Linda. Hope you manage to finish the project for your daughter and the insides of all your cards (not my favourite job either). Happy WOYWW and meow to Inky. Thanks for visiting already. Sarah #4

I don't do the insides at the same time either, then when it comes to writing them I curse myself! I really should get on and do some more this evening, I am nearly at the end of the list of desks.... but I won't! The poppies really were lovely, and the scarf is very cosy! Helen #1

-7?! That is chilly! Staying and crafting (or bird watching in Inky's case) seems like the sensible thing to do. Hope your DDs prezzy making goes smoothly.

Hi Linda. Sounds like some lovely surprises for your daughter come Christmas - well done. Golly, that temperature is COLD!!! I'm sitting here shivering just thinking about it. Love the idea of cat TV! In answer to your question - yes, the Christmas tree is indeed fabric. A Pinflair kit.
Take care. God bless.

Busy desk! I tend to make the insides of my cards later especially for the Christmas ones where there are so many needed it just seems quicker. Have a great woyww, Angela x16x

Hi Linda, oh that's cold! My sister sent me a photo yesterday- first snowfall! She's a bit further north than you I think- London, Ontario. I never thought of doing the inside of the cards first, but it would save some time. Have a lovely week Heather x #13

Hi Linda, Cool! I found another crafter that doesn't do their inserts at the same time as making them, lol. I have a big pile again I need to do. Hugs to Inky, Have a lovely week, Hugs, Shaz #9 X

Staying in sounds like a plan. I had to stop letting Tabby out when I discovered one of my friendly chipmunks stretched out along side my truck in the driveway with incriminating teeth marks. I know it's part of their DNA but she can't be attacking my birds and chipmunks. She now watches from her perch in the office.
Quite a collection on your desk... and you moved stuff off. LOL Hope we'll get to see the hidden items soon. Creative Blessings! Kelly #27

I have to admit the insides are always a last minute job for me.. I usually have my cards all stacked together and do them in bulk, not many gathered together at the moment! Inky is a wise girl, nothing like being indoors watching the silly world go by in the warmth of your own home.
Have a super weekend & Happy woyww Tracey #10
