WOYWW 492

Another Wednesday, time to peek at each others desks and projects! If you want to know what WOYWW is, just go to http://www.stamping-ground.blogspot.ca/p/what-is-woyww.html  and all will be revealed!

Greetings to everyone in Blog Land, especially to my WOYWW friends! It is November already! And we are really feeling it here in Southern Ontario - we may even see some snow soon. Here is my desk this morning - it has been busy this week, but for some reason it got tidied up!

I have finally been busy with Christmas Cards, I only have 18 to send, and I have made 17 so far (I had a few leftover from last year). I made a Masterboard and used that to make 6 cards, and my mother gave me an art calendar she got in the mail, so I thought I would use the paintings from December and January. I think they are my 2 favourites so far!

I love TH Christmas people! So I think I will make another Masterboard and 6 more cards, and I will be done for this year! Yay!

I have a project in mind for my daughter for Christmas, but I won't post it until she gets it. I don't think she reads my blog, but you never know.

I have been working in my Junk Journal, here are the pages for Halloween and Nov:

I'm almost at the end of this one, so I will probably have a new one ready for next week. I want to make a video of this one, we will see how that pans out!

Well that's it for me. Inky says "meow", and I say have a great week!

PS: I did some blog cleaning yesterday, updates my profile picture, and weeded out blogs that no longer existed, or hadn't posted for a year or more. Hopefully will be adding new blogs to my fav list!

Hiya! I really love the background colour of those Christmas cards and the vintage figures give a very different twist - I like it a lot! The junk journal pages are fun too, you obviously had a good time making those. It is getting very dark early here now that the clocks have gone back an hour..but I quite like closing the curtains against the world and snuggling in front of the fire :-D

Your Christmas cards are fab, I love the aqua with the red in particular - a great colour combo. The junk journal pages are gorgeous, such beautiful golden autumn colours.
Hope you have a great week and 'meow' to Inky!

I enlarged the photos and had a good browse... and the cards look fabulous. I was just going to say, I hadn't seen the TH Christmas people.. then looked to my right and saw a pack... doh! I bought them in a sale online some place. Must remember to use some before I finish my Christmas cards or some other projects. Helen #1

You’ve been busy..and adding to my creeping panic about not having made any cards yet! I am going o refere a friend to look at your TH Christmas people too, she loves them! Love the look of your tidy desk, but more than that, your technical description of the ‘twirly thing full of stuff’! The thing is..I totally understood it, wouldn’t have needed the picture!

Hi Linda, I can see why you like the TH people. They are very different. Well done on all the Christmas cards. I will probably make most of mine over one weekend, later this month, unless we have the grandchildren sleeping over. Have a lovely week Heather x #7

I need to do some weeding too so watch my space! Good idea of yours.
Lovely "C" cards and I must say I have still to start. Will probably only do half a dozen or so this year and the rest will be commercial ones. But I must say the Halloween pages are what took my attention - brilliant! Love them and must say I am so into Halloween these days - must be the devil in me. LOL
Hugs to you and "Mew" to Inky.

Linda i'm so jealous that you've nearly finished your Christmas cards AND have time to make a few more. The baby on the rooftop is so sweet hee hee!
I'd hold back on showing any ideas on your blog of what you will be making for your Daughter as I too thought mine did not read mine until she had left a comment.. I have to be very careful now as to what I show especially on woyww days.
Great journal pages, i'd love to see a process video. Nice page layout btw, I too could do with a good blog clean out, maybe when i've a little more free time.

What a lovely busy desk, Linda, and I do love your "twirly things full of stuff" lol lol!! You've made some great cards, and the journal page is fabulous too. How busy you've been. Thank you for your visit and I'm glad you like the peacock feathers - I think it's worth the work too, but my hubby said, "It's only a scarf..." but he doesn't get it, and also he's one of the most impatient people I know haha! I managed to find another recipe for the sourdough and made my most successful loaf yet - I'm super pleased with it. It also involved fewer steps which is good, so I shall stick with this and hope for the best.

Lily and Ruby say miaow to Inky across the ocean.

Happy belated WOYOWW,
