WOYWW #489

Another Wednesday, time to peek at each others desks and projects! If you want to know what WOYWW is, just go to http://www.stamping-ground.blogspot.ca/p/what-is-woyww.html  and all will be revealed!

Brr! Getting very chilly here! Just changed over my spring summer clothes for fall winter! Of course, now that I have done that we will get record breaking heat! (hope not!)

My desk last week was so messy, I only had a small space to work in, so I decided yesterday to tidy up:

But. . .I got distracted by a cigar box I found while continuing my clean up to the side, and had an idea. . .

Remember the stencils I got last week?

Here is what I have used them for so far:

In my junk journal:

on the matting of these photos:

and these two birthday cards for friends:

That's it for me today, Inky is camera shy today, so I will say "meow" from her, as I'm sure she means it, and "Have a great week!" from me!

Oooh, I like those stencils very much and you've made some gorgeous items with them! I do love cigar boxes and you've made a great job of it. We didn't get flooded here but surrounding areas were badly hit and you're right, Rhys and I are very alike 😊

Hi Linda, nice cards. We all have to tidy up sometimes, you just can't work on a few inches for ever Lol! It's funny you should mention about changing your clothes as I noticed my friends today were wearing boots for the fist time so better get mine out. Have a great woyww and a happy crafty week, Angela x16x

Great to achieve a tidy desk, Linda, but the trouble is, it never lasts, does it!! Love the new stencils. Thank you for your visit and for your good wishes for my scan etc. Feeling a bit better physically today but Not Happy because the first of the new support pants arrived and they don't fit. Same happened last year and the rep is furious about it! More delays... I do seem to be terribly busy these days and need to cut down and rest a lot more as it's all catching up with me.

Glad that Inky is a good girl with people food. Ruby is dreadful and tonight we shut her out while we ate, and she sat outside crying plaintively and it was all I could do not to relent and let her in again!

I agree with you about how they served the food - perfect plates for each dish! I couldn't resist photographing them. The Michelin restaurant is going to be great and apparently we're expected to dress up for that, which will be fun.

So glad you like my pics - I seem to photograph the sourdough every week lol! I'm very pleased with the scarf and need to work on the embellishments for both scarves this coming week.

Happy WOYWW,

That sounds so like me, tidy up and get distracted and mess up all over again. Still you found something wonderful, the cigar box.
Great use of the stencils you bought, love the journal page especially.
Have a good week, tickles to Inky.

Hi Linda I totally agree with being distracted by cleaning up, I think it is a most distracting thing! Love your new stencils but don’t do junk art must admit it does not grab me at all, but love the cards and photos you’ve sued it with they’re grand. Yes good buy very versatile!

I always think a neat desk is full of promise and possibility, begging to be messed up again. Super projects! I'm kinda looking forward to the winter now - as long as it doesn't get too cold. Thanks for your visit earlier, have a fun weekend! zsuzsa #17

Love how you multi-used the stencils. Great backgrounds. Love the scary clownish image. I'm still wearing t-shirts. I can't work well in sleeves but I'll probably put on the flannel shirt when I go out to work in the garden today. Wondering if we're going to skip fall and go straight to winter. Creative Blessings!
