Another Wednesday, time to peek at each others desks and projects! If you want to know what WOYWW is, just go to http://www.stamping-ground.blogspot.ca/p/what-is-woyww.html and all will be revealed!
Hello all! I hope you are all enjoying nice weather - we actually broke a heat record yesterday with 21C. I don't know if that is good or bad considering the news we got yesterday about climate change. But the weather is nice anyway.
My DD was visiting last week, and so I really didn't get to my desk at all, except to make her a (pretty lame) bookmark. I will make her some more this week (hopefully). As you may or may not know, we had our Canadian Thanksgiving this past weekend. Do you have Thanksgiving where you are? It is a time to feel thankful and grateful for what we have in our lives. I feel that everyday, but it is nice to celebrate it with loved ones as well!
Here is my desk this morning:
and my new stencils!
Now for some weekend pics-we went to a place called Upper Canada Village on Saturday night, usually a reconstructed village from the 1800's, now transformed into Pumpkin Inferno! All of these are made from carved pumpkins!
Owls. . .
This one was part of a 60's theme presentation, complete with music and flashing lights
Under the sea...
famous paintings. . .
and so much more! You can google it and see more photos if you want!
Here we are tat the end, I bought myself a spiderweb hat!
and now Thanksgiving. . .DD and her Grandma (my mom)
DD and her Uncle Ken (my brother) (he made the pumpkin pies!)
and dinner! Turkey fresh out of the oven. . .
and my plate. . .
and Monday we went for a walk down to the lake while the soup was bubbling away
It was sad to see her leave, but we had such a lovely time!
Here is my fall garden this morning:
and Inky overseeing it all!
If you had Thanksgiving this weekend, I hope yours was as lovely as our was! Inky says "meow!" and I say "have a great week!"

Hi Linda, it looks like it was a really nice holiday for your all. ( we do not have our until near the end of November down here) ~Stacy #22
Hi Linda. What a precious time you had with your daughter and then with more of your family. Lovely photos - and a scrumptious meal. Those pictures - everything was made of pumpkins??? Did I read that right??? Not my scene, but incredible work! the gardens are indeed beginning to look quite full of autumn colour now, aren't they? We don't have thanksgiving day here in Britain - would probably do us good if we did!! Remembering to be thankful to Father God for all He has given us is so very important.
Take care. God bless.

Happy Thanks giving albeit belated, I love the thought of having a special day to celebrate with family and say Thanks as Margret said we do not have it in the UK so everything tends to get squashing into one Christmas day. Lucky for me my Hubby's and Mother in Laws Birthday are close to Christmas day so we get to spend lots of time together.
The illuminations looked fabulous, you all look so happy even inky in that comfy chair watching the world blow by hee hee!!
Happy WOYWW Tracey #6 xx
that is one lovely looking plate of thanksgiving dinner! However, I have to say, I love those stencils! I haven't seen those designs (and you know I love my stencils!) Have a great week.. Helen #2

Hi Linda, my those pumpkins are amazing. No, we don't have a Thanksgiving weekend here in the UK. Love the stencils, look forward to seeing you use them. Have a lovely week, Hugs, Shaz #5 X
Wow wow wow, those pumpkins are amazing, I've never seen anything like it. So glad you had a great thanksgiving weekend - we don't have anything like that in the UK really. Lovely to see your family enjoying themselves! Those stencils are beautiful, you'll have to show us what you do with them.
Hugs LLJ 10 xxxx
Hi Linda, we don't have Thanksgiving in UK. I keep threatening to visit my sister a bit later in the year than normal and then we can celebrate with her, but it would be a lot cooler! The pumpkins look fantastic, amazing how creative some people are! Have a lovely week Heather x #27
Happy belated thanksgiving. I can see the family resemblance in the 3 generations of ladies in your family. Amazing pumpkin art! Have a good week and meow to Inky. Sarah #3
Sorry I am so late in visiting but I have had a very mixed and busy week.
The crackle glaze did go on thick - must have been a faulty batch - we had a Deco Art Tutor so we definitely did it right.
Also we found the leak straight away, a bend in a pipe in the loft - the plumber was called and he fitted a new bend completely. Now it is an expensive plastering job as the whole ceiling will have to be skimmed.
Love your new stencils and the photographs of your Thanksgiving time.Looks like you had a lot of happiness surrounding your table and afterwards with DD.
It's lovely sat here today seeing the sunlight dappling through the trees whilst I okay catch up. Hope you are having a nice day.
Hugs to you and tickles to Inky, Neet 9 xx
HI Linda, I did not find a email you button but, I found the cups and lids on Amazon ( which is a much smaller package than the restaurant supply stores)
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01FGBJBAC/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s01?ie=UTF8&th=1
(hopefully that works but, if not its a 4OZ cup) and the lids are here: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01KQ7OGGU/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
