WOYWW #487

Another Wednesday, time to peek at each others desks and projects! If you want to know what WOYWW is, just go to http://www.stamping-ground.blogspot.ca/p/what-is-woyww.html  and all will be revealed!

Hello everyone! It's cold and rainy here in southern Ontario, hope you are having better weather! I was only in my stamping room a couple of times this week, and my desk looked like this this morning:

I had a good friend in hospital this week who had an emergency triple bypass, so I gave her this card that I had made previously, as a get-well card. (she's doing well!)

And I have prepped my junk journal page for Thanksgiving which we are celebrating in Canada on the weekend. The white page on the left is waiting for my new stencil to arrive, I have plans. . .

And my Day of the Dead journal page is finally finished! All I needed was the white to finish it off, and I was able to do it with a fine liner bottle of white paint + extender to get some beautiful fluid white lines

And here is Inky, all tired out after "helping" me change the sheets on the bed!

Inky says "meow" and I say "Hope you have a wonderful week!"

PS: I'm hoping to get to as many of you as possible, but my DD is arriving tonight while I'm at work and we have a lot planned for the next few days, so I do apologize in advance if I don't get back to you this week, I will try and make up for it next week!

My hubby had a quad bypass `11 years ago and it was the best thing - it took a while to get over the op but he's been fine since! Hope your friend is ok. I love that Day of the Dead page, it's really wonderful!

Miaow to Inky and a Hi to you Linda
Sorry to hear about your friend, hope he/she is recovering well and is soon back to full health.
Love your junk journal, I really must make one soon - look forward t seeing the stencilling. But ... I just love your Day of the Dead page. What a fabulous sugar skull you have done. I would love to be over there to celebrate Dia de Los Muertos but I will content myself with looking at your wonderful artwork.
Enjoy your time with DD.
