WOYWW #474

Another Wednesday, time to peek at each others desks and projects! If you want to know what WOYWW is, just go to http://www.stamping-ground.blogspot.ca/p/what-is-woyww.html  and all will be revealed!

Hello out there! We have been basking in a southern Ontario heat wave these past few days! I have been so busy, that if you want to see my desk, just look at last week's post! Absolutely nothing has changed. But I have a couple of photos to share! Sunday was Canada Day, and we celebrated as usual, by going to Artfest! A great art and craft show that is on every year in the park, and every year I wish I had about a thousand dollars in cash with me!

And yesterday my DD and I went Wedding Venue hunting! She is just starting, so I'm sure there will be many more!

on the lake. . .

Everything done for her. . .

and one where we would have to all decorating, but it was on the beach!

So good to spend the day with her! But no art this week, by my hands anyway!

Have a great week, here is Inky with her favourite toys:

She had a close encounter with a raccoon this morning - I think that was worse than with a fox! I chased the raccoon up a tree but it took a lot of yelling. When I let Inky back out 30 minutes later - where did she go? To find the raccoon! Silly cat (she didn't, he was long gone). She is safely sleeping now on the bed in the AC. She said to say "meow" to you all before she conked out! Meow!

Have a great week, I hope you have been more productive than I have this week! I will try better for next week!

I want to go to that Art Fest, too. I want one of those soldered necklaces. SO much better than any I have made.

Poor Inky. They never learn, do they? Bleubeard sends a happy purr back to Inky, while you bask in the sun on the beach. Happy WOYWW from #1.

What fun, venue shopping with your daughter. Wouldn't the beach be a fabulous venue for a wedding. Thanks for sharing your day with us. Happy WOYWW #36

Hi Linda, the Artfest looks wonderful and those hats - no wonder you wished you had loads of cash with you. What fun. Both venues for the wedding look fabulous - I would be hard pushed to decide between them both so glad it's not me that's getting married. Hugs to Inky and have a great week. Elizabeth x #32

Silly cat, fancy actually trying to find the raccoon! Sounds like the ArtFest was good. Probably better that you don't have the money with you or you might have been tempted with all those interesting things. Have a great woywww and happy crafting, Angela x10x

There was some cool stuff at the artfest, but my favorites were the vintage tools with the cut out designs. Looks like you and your daughter had a great time looking at wedding venues. Happy WOYWW!
PS - Glad Inky is OK!

Morning Linda or is it Evening..?? I can never remember which side of the clock we are at?
Artfest looks like an amazing event to visit, full of artisans displaying their talents and craftman/womanship. How amazing are those altered tools!
Your smile tells me just how happy it made you feel.
Looks like a well earned feet up after all that Wedding Event hunting.
Looks like Inky is hugging her toy for dear life.. Maybe she thinks the Raccoon has his eyes on it hee hee!!
Happy days & Thank you for sharing WOYWW.

Would a thousand dollar be enough for an Artfest like that? I NEED at least three of those hats ;) I love places at the water, a venue at the lake looks just fabulous! Enjoy your week, love from Holland. Marit #22

Happy Belated WOYWW. We have a heatwave in the UK too, but I bet you have it a lot hotter! ArtFest looks amazing. I would want to buy a lot too. Hi to Inky. Milky, our white cat, is spending most of the time outside at the moment - she only appears for regular snacks/drink of fresh water, and also sleeps with us at night. Ali x #27

Hi Linda! How exciting to be looking for a wedding venue! Happy belated Canada day! You certainly had good weather for it - it's been sweltering around here too. Inky looks cute with her toy - I had to rescue Oreo from a cat fight - he injured his foot as well, but nothing serious. Sometimes I wish we could just keep him indoors, but he wouldn't be happy about that - as Inky wouldn't either, I'm sure! At least we don't have raccoons - I didn't realize they could be dangerous to cats! Hope you'll find some time for making art next week! Thanks for your visit earlier! zsuzsa xx
