WOYWW #459

Another Wednesday, time to peek at each others desks and projects! If you want to know what WOYWW is, just go to http://www.stamping-ground.blogspot.ca/p/what-is-woyww.html  and all will be revealed!

Happy Spring everyone! Even though it still feels like winter (-9C today), we know that we are moving towards warmer weather! Yay!!

Here is my desk this morning, not a lot happening!:

This is my new journal page from yesterday. The hand is a stencil, the flower border some Washi Tape (back when they used to make really good washi tape!)

My new watercolour journal page, done on St. Patrick's Day. i had lunch with my Mom (I had Pho), and I wanted to practice my cylindrical shapes, and then there was this photo on Twitter of all the Queen's U students getting drunk and out of control on the streets, thousands of them. But this guy was wearing this crazy hat, so I chose him to draw.

Here is my "alternate desk" this morning, with my next journal page in progress, from a photo of a friend and I saying goodbye (she is moving away) on Tuesday. It's quite a challenge!

And kitty bliss in the Spring afternoon sunshine!

Have a wonderful week!

I think you celebrate St Patricks Day more in the US than we do here in the UK which is so strange isn't it. I love your pages though, they are so vibrant and full of life.
Lets hope spring really is on it's way now, I've had enough of the cold!
Happy WOYWW

Good to see lots of green today - a reminder that Spring will get here....eventually! As Lisa said, you celebrate St Patrick's Day way more than we do, though a personal gripe is when people call it St Patty's Day...aaaaargh. Sorry to hear your friend is moving away but it's so easy to stay in touch, Julia and I do ok!

Lovely journal pages ..... bright and cheerful.
All our snow has gone for the moment ....
We have a St Patrick's day parade in town but I find it difficult as I remember my friend losing a leg in the bombings - only 18 ...I have forgiven but I find it difficult to mix not knowing whether they are the ones who blew us up!! maybe one day!! lol
Love the photos of the kitties - they look very happy.
Take care

Hi Linda, Inky looks like she's enjoying the sun through the window. Love the St Patrick's day spread! Hope it's not too difficult finishing that page! Have a great week and keep warm. Sarah #12

Evening Linda. You are obviously going to miss your friend - trust you manage to stay in touch. Some friends - you just restart the conversation when you next meet them as though you had never been apart... Good looking page coming on there.
Take care. God bless.

Gosh, I like the idea of some afternoon bliss...if the sun shines today I may try it! your desk looks quiet, and then you show us masses of creativity you’ve been doing, how great. Urgh, saying goodbye to a friend is hard, but honestly, the distance will bring you closer.
