WOYWW #445

Another Wednesday, time to peek at each others desks and projects! If you want to know what WOYWW is, just go to http://www.stamping-ground.blogspot.ca/p/what-is-woyww.html  and all will be revealed!

Greetings everyone! We now have snow that will probably stick around! We will have the first White Christmas we have had in awhile if it does! Only -13C (8.5 F!) today!

And this is my desk this morning - I have to say, I sat down yesterday evening and cleaned it up - it was a disaster area!

I only have one project to share today, I made this for my Brother-in Law and Sister-in-Law, whom we were visiting in Montreal this past weekend:

Another one made with a stamp wood-block!

We had an incredible experience in Montreal, we got to be part of the chorus for Handel's Messiah in a church! We had an orchestra and professional Soloists. It was awesome, the audience was divided into Soprano, Alto and Bass, and we all sang together - it sounded glorious! We only sang the beginning, about Jesus's birth, then ended with "Hallelujah!"

So that's me for this week, short and sweet for a change! Inky wants to go outside, but then realizes how cold it is!

So here's a "Can you find me?" puzzle from Inky. What a trickster she is!

Have a wonderful week, it's getting closer to the day! I will try and visit more people this week!

All our snow is gone now! I'm hoping for some more for Christmas - it would be awesome to have fresh snow on Christmas Day! Lots of things on your desk and a lovely Christmas make there. I don't blame Inky for not wanting to go out in those temperatures. Oreo is not a big fan of the white stuff either. Hope your week is filled with joy and creativity! zsuzsa #16

Now if that was one of my cats, she'd be IN the basket lol
Gorgeous photographs - and remember that a messy desk just means you've been very busy. That's a good thing, right? lol
Have a wonderful week,

Hi, what an amazing experience, I bet it was most uplifting. Our snow has been coming and going at a rapid rate of knots. 2" last night in an hour but nearly all gone again this morning. I bet Inky doesn't know if she's coming or going! Love seeing all those ideas for the wooden stamp blocks. Happy WOYWW Sarah #11

Inky is a very sensible cat. Who wants to go outside when it is -13?
Love your wooden stamp block creation, it will, no doubt, be received well.
As for the singing, what a wonderful thing to happen. Bet it was awesome. Certainly one for the memory box.

Hi Linda, Don't know if we will have snow for Christmas. Temps below freezing forecast for the next 10 days, so maybe.

Loving your gift made from a stamp wood block.

Glad you enjoyed singing with the choir.

Thanks for stopping by my blog.

I've sung the Messiah a few times with the choral society I used to belong to - it's blooming high for the sopranos but really good fun! So glad you enjoyed the concert. Singing is wonderful, I don't do enough these days. Your desk was quite magnificently messy, I do hope you enjoyed tidying up and the tree tag is gorgeous :-D

Hi there, we had a lot of snow in UK where I live and were unable to get out for few days. It was -13c in some parts of the UK brrrrrrrr still got some snow and ice. It snowed a little more last night and froze. Roads hadn't been gritted and it was a nightmare journey to work for some and lots of accidents.
Thank you for the lovely comments you left. I got the idea for the box here http://www.helengriffin.co.uk/12th-day-of-christmas-2016-ferrero-rocher-stacked-gift-box-tutorial/ hope you can find it from here. Let me know if not. Many years ago I went with my husband, and in laws to be (at the time ) to Handel's Messiah at The Town Hall in Birmingham UK. Anne x #14

I did eventually spot your kitty and what a wonderful experience to sing in the concert. Sounds like you are used to the cold and fully prepared to snuggle down and be cosy with your craft. We are heading for a sunny 27 Celsius as we head out to our Christmas Carols. Have a lovely week and thanks for your lovely comment.
