WOYWW #424

Another Wednesday, time to peek at each others desks and projects! If you want to know what WOYWW is, just go to http://www.stamping-ground.blogspot.ca/p/what-is-woyww.html  and all will be revealed!

Hello fellow deskers! These Wednesdays come by so quickly, don't they? I'm getting a bit of a late start today, hubby's birthday is today, and I had to get all his birthday goodies sorted, made, and wrapped this morning! As usual, I forgot to take a pic of his card before sealing it up in an envelope, so that will have to wait until next week.

My desk this morning before cardmaking:

The checklist you see on the desk  is a goal that I set for myself, to go to the gym for 30 days, 3 times a week, before deciding to keep or get rid of my gym membership. As you can see, I've gone 2 times so far, today will be day 3

I am almost done with my 100 day project, to make an index card every day for 100 days -  I'm up to 94!

and a journal page:

The sad news today, is that our lovely 18 year old Penny passed away last Thursday morning. She had a long and happy life, and she went peacefully. Inky is a bit sad, going to the places where Penny usually sat or slept, not really knowing where she has gone to. Quite a bit more needy recently too, but that's OK, I need the cuddles too. I dedicated my index card #89 to Penny.

Now I'm off to look at your desks! Have a great week!

Oh, I'm sending you big hugs for the loss of your puss cat - I know it was inevitable but that doesn't lessen the sadness. Inky must be feeling the emptiness too, I know my Ron did when Harry passed away. I like your artwork this week, that sentiment is fab :-)

So sorry to hear about Penny and so sad to hear that Inky is missing her. I know how I missed my little cat who was also 18 when she went. She had missed her friend Oliver when he died although she tormented the hell out of him when he was alive. (He was a Cavalier King Charles - she was a tiny cat).
Happy birthday to DH - exactly my trick, post a card without a photo although in your case you can take one when he has opened his.
Congrats on the index cards - 94 is some achievement. Plus they are beautiful.
Have a good week
Hugs, Neet 1 xx

Hi sorry to hear about Penny but sure she had a good life and that's a good age too. Love the card with 'Flaming June' on it. That is one of my most favourite paintings and I have a large print of it at the top of my stairs. Hoping you have a great WOYWW, Angela x9x

DearLinda,
Yes, No. 89 was very appropriate to dedicate to dear Penny, sad always to lose a pet, so hope Inky and you all feel the loss a little less with each passing day.
No 90 is my fav really love it, your desky annotations remind me the lid is off my glue too, I dropped it on floor. Mm am all warm and comfy now...
Thanks for sharing your inspiration!

Hi Linda! Just found your comment on my blog! So sorry to hear about Penny, but you saw it coming already. Perhaps it's better than when it happens all of a sudden - you had some time to prepare emotionally. LOVE all your index cards and especially No. 89. What a lovely tribute. xx
