WOYWW #420

Another Wednesday, time to peek at each others desks and projects! If you want to know what WOYWW is, just go to http://www.stamping-ground.blogspot.ca/p/what-is-woyww.html  and all will be revealed!

Strange day today, the electricity was off from 9am to 1pm, throwing of my whole WOYWW! This was a planned outage, and if I'd had my head on right, I would have done all this yesterday, but I didn't. So I'm starting late. And then on Julia's website it said #421, but I know it's #420! AND last weeks #419 is missing from the website, so I lost out on seeing many of the posts last week, since I didn't get around to it until very late (busy busy busy!!) So if I didn't get to yours, I apologize, and if I didn't reply to a few who got to my desk, it was because the post was missing, so I will go to you first today!

Here was my desk this morning. I took the first photo from the door, showing my nice, formerly clean chopper, now full of STUFF! I was doing a journal project yesterday and I needed a lot more room.

This one is of the desk - I like all this room to work!

I joined a Women's Online Retreat called "Women Unleashed", and there are 2 workshops a day. I know I will only be able to do one a day at the most. On the weekend I made a journal called a "Cosmic Smash Journal" which was the first activity of the retreat.

Side view - and it smells like maple sugar!

My first workshop was yesterday by Shiloh Sophia, called "Embodied Succulence" - here is the page I did:

It was all about having a conversation with your body, getting to know and love your body! And we had to name our "lady" so I named her Lady of Growth". If you would like to join, here is the  link at the bottom of this page

If you want to follow me to see the progress of this workshop, and/or to see my index cards, you can follow me on Instagram @lindart61

Here are my daily index cards from my Hundred Day Project from last week:

No garden photos today, but we are eating the lettuce, and fresh herbs!

Today 16 year old Penny says hello, she's never too far away!

So I am off to visit yours, not sure how many I will get to this week as it is even busier than last week! But I will make an effort!
Have a wonderful week,

Well, if it;s any consolation, the weeks are whipping past here too and I'd be in danger of forgetting which day it is if I didn't have my two bands to play with :-D. The thing that made me hoot most about your annotated desk is the basil leaves floating in old water....errrm...why??!

I tend to know the weeks only by WOYWW so it's confusing when the numbers don't tally, lol! your journal looks fab, as fat as mine! When it cools down here I may be able to decorate my cover. Helen #8

Your desk is quite comforting mine is chaotic at times too. Now re cards I love no 70, the pattern images and colours are really soecial, great work,
Shaz. X 24 ps I never ever or hardly ever go by numbers of WOYWW, I look only at dates on posts, strange eh??

Hi Linda, is the basil to keep the water fresher? Like everyone else, I'm intrigued. Love the index cards again, and Penny is gorgeous. Sending her tummy rubs. Have a lovely week, Hugs, Shaz #9 XxX

Lovely creative space with lots going on, Lindart, and some smashing projects you've got there. Gorgeous photo of cuddly Penny too! Thank you, and Penny and Inky too, for your condolences over the loss of our 2 fur babies recently. Still no news of suitable new ones but I'm sure something will turn up soon, and in the meantime we are getting the place ready for new arrivals!

Happy belated WOYWW,

Yup, the number thing threw me too. I had to go back and check. I am in awe of all the craftiness you find time for. I think even one workshop a day would be a challenge for me. Happy very belated WOYWW Sarah #28
