WOYWW #402

Another Wednesday, time to peek at each others desks and projects! If you want to know what WOYWW is, just go to http://www.stamping-ground.blogspot.ca/p/what-is-woyww.html  and all will be revealed!

Happy Day-After-Valentines-Day! I hope everyone who enjoys this day was thoroughly spoiled! I certainly was! The framed card in this photo was my Valentines card to hubby in 2015, at the moment framed and in my powder-room gallery!

Yes, 12 long-stemmed red roses, I always take one and place it beside my bed! He always gives me roses for our Anniversary and VDay! Since he knows I am watching my weight, I also got a teeny tiny box of chocolates - only 3!

Here is the card I made him this year:
 My desk this morning:

Update on unmounting my stamps - I just finished "Celestial"! I think "Celtic" is next. And I did get my stamp from last week to flatten! Yay!

Today, Penny will say hello to you, she was visiting in my stamp room this week!

And now I am off to visit your desk! Thanks for dropping by!

This "day after Valentines" just happens to be my birthday so yes it is special to me - LOL. I'm trying to watch my weight but hubby still bought me loads of chocolates so I have passed them on to my son to make sure I don't eat too many! Lovely card. BJ#1

Hi Linda. Thanks for the visit earlier.. The Christmas Throwdown isn't mine. But if you go to their website, http://52cct.blogspot.com/ you can sign up by Email on the right side-bar and you'll get the reminders in your email. That's the only way I remembered for two years, even though I didn't play until this year LOL. Now, as soon as I get the email I schedule it on a blog post so I don't forget. Usually on a WOYWW as I try not to miss that post.

The same with my color challenge. Just know the Color Inspiration and my card sample will post the 3rd Monday of every month. Set a reminder somewhere that you'll come check it out. I'll try to remember to post a reminder on the WOYWW post the week before.

Now,your desk... quite busy. Sweet that you get roses for Valentine's Day. I've always told Bob not to get me roses. Sometimes I regret that. But he is welcome to buy me potted roses that I can put in the garden and keep as long as Mother Nature lets them live.

Creative Blessings on your Week! ~ Kelly #46

The roses look amazing - do you dry them? I'm one of those single people that doesn't have a valentine but enjoyed some chocolate from my boss! He handed out Reece's peanut butter cups to the entire group.

Your card looks great. Love that bird soaring with a special letter in it's beak.

Thank you for visiting me and leaving your comment.

Happy WOYWW

Hello Penny! I love that you frame your card and have it in your home. I didn't used to display any of my work and then I thought, you can't tell an artist lives here. Now there is so much of my work all over my home and I love it. Have a lovely week. And thanks for visiting my blog. Dorlene #43

I had to smile that there is a TV remote hiding in all the toys on your desk. ( and yep there is actually a third floor Ott light over the bigshot on my table) ( I am nearly blind up here in the "cave") Thanks for the earlier visit, ~Stacy #45

I love roses and I love that you place one next to your bed - such a sweet sight to wake up to in the morning! Thanks for stopping by my desk last week and to answer your question: I use photoshop to add the labels to my deskphoto. It takes me some extra time each Wednesday, but for you woyww-chickies I am ready to put a bit extra effort into it. Have a great weekend dear, hug from foggy HOlland. Marit #32

Awww, Penny looks gorgeous! Reminds me of a wild cat on the prowl! When we post photos of our pets, there's always a danger that they upstage our artwork LOL. I certainly always zoom in on them! I don't think my hubby ever brought me flowers, but that's ok. I would worry if he suddenly started now LOL! Thanks so much for visiting last Wednesday and sorry I couldn't get back to you earlier. Happy WOYWW for tomorrow! zsuzsa #23
