WOYWW #393

Another Wednesday, time to peek at each others desks and projects! If you want to know what WOYWW is, just go to http://www.stamping-ground.blogspot.ca/p/what-is-woyww.html  and all will be revealed!

Well, it's finally winter here in Southern Ontario! We have snow that has stayed on the ground, and it's is snowing right now! We were worried a bit that we would have another green Christmas like last year, and that with Global Warming, green Christmas's would be a norm in the future, but this snow will mean we will have a White Christmas! Hopefully not the last one!

I have been busy making Christmas Cards, almost all done, just a few left to mail. My goal is to have them all in the mail by the weekend. The basic idea for these came from Pinterest, and my leftover Christmas paper pad from a year ago - not much paper left to choose from! All the stamps are from the same set by Inkadinkadoo (from Michael's)

This one is also from Pinterest, hers was much nicer, but I got the idea! The snowman stamp is from Viva Las Vegas

Still needs a few finishing touches!

Here is my desk this morning. I am having fun with PicMonkey (an editing program - free! try it!) to create this little collage!

Here's Inky's new spot to sit and survey the world!

Thanks for peeking at my desk this week! Now it's my turn to peek at yours!

I have to confess to being a Pinterest junkie! I love going on there and have quite a lot of boards now. Very unusual cards, and what a good idea to have a theme (the diagonal design) and then put different images on it. They are very striking. Inky is adorable! Our kitties would have all those tree ornaments off, though! Thank you for your lovely encouraging comment! Not doing too badly really, and there's a lot worse off than I am. Glad you are enjoying my little album. Progress is fairly slow but I'm getting there, and now thinking a bit more about the binding.

Happy WOYWW,

Beautiful cards! I love Pinterest. You can get all sorts of ideas from there. A good way to kickstart creativity if you're stuck. It's cold here in Michigan too. I don't mind a white Christmas, I'd rather it just start late Christmas Eve and end early Christmas morning. Sigh. No such luck.

Ooh fabulous cards - love the glittery snowman, your photo has really picked the sparkle up (something I always struggle with on my pics).
Hope you have a great week, and thanks for stopping by earlier - sorry I'm running late!

Inky looks like the best festive cat..I've seen an awful lot of pics of cats being driven to naughtiness by the decorations! i do love the cards, love that you were able to run with the original idea and make such lovely variety.

I don't remember having a white Christmas for decades! That would be lovely, although life comes to a stand still here at the first sight of snow LOL! Marvellous Christmas cards - well done! Now let the festivities begin! Your Inky looks a lot like Oreo - he's even got a little white patch on his chest! Thanks for visiting earlier! Happy Belated WOYWW! zsuzsa #21

Happy Belated WOYWW. I am finally getting online before my next shopping outing this afternoon. A white Christmas?! I cannot remember our last one. We do not get much snow in Pembrokeshire at any time. Lovely cards. I only made 5 this year - and planning to probably buy all of them next year after going in a fantastic shop called Paperchase yesterday and seeing their range. I am putting up our tree and decorations this weekend. Our cat, Milky, does go and look at the tree, but generally leaves it alone. Ali x #25
