WOYWW #605

Another Wednesday, time to peek at each others desks and projects! If you want to know what WOYWW is, just go to http://www.stamping-ground.blogspot.ca/p/what-is-woyww.html  and all will be revealed!

Happy New Year everyone! I truly hope this new year brings you new hope, health and happiness, wherever in the world you are. I hope everyone gets their vaccine sooner than later, and that we can toss our masks soon!

We are still in a lockdown until the 28th, and I hear that England is also getting more restrictions. Bummer.

Here is my first day of the month photo:

A beautiful day, sunshine and green grass, it's winter you say? Look below to see what a difference a day makes!

So finally the snow came and has stayed.

Here is my desk this morning:

No need for labels today...

So I thought I would give you a different view, from my door:

It's not that I didn't do anything in there this week, but it's darn cold in there! So I don't tend to spend a long time in there. I did make this tag, after joining a Facebook group called 52 Tags, where we will be making a tag a week for a year. Hopefully  can keep up!

The challenge for this one was white on white.

So, I have been working on my Bullet Journal, also called a Bujo. A lot of you expressed an interest in it, so I will show you what I did this week. You can skip it if your are not interested! I've known about these for years, always thought they were a lot of work, and who has the time for that? Well...pandemic...no job...guess who has time!

I showed you my cover page last week, here are the rest

Index so I know where things are!

Year at a glance & goals for the year

 Month at a glance

 Dailies
My friend Marg sent me this beautiful card for my birthday, which was on the 1st of January. Lavinia! Hubby gave me $100 gift certificate to my local stamp store - time to get more Lavinia!

Dailies continued, the rest are like this

Gratitude and tracking a few things I want to keep track of such as moods, playing piano, housework, etc. I'm not enthralled with the right side of this page.

Tracking sleep and weight loss

Tracking measurements. I can add to the Mandala if I want to

In the last week of January I will make February's calendar and daily pages.  This is the general recommended order, though some people do all their dailies for the year at once. I decided to do it this way. The tracking pages are for whatever you want to track (don't look at those numbers too closely!). I do have several more I want to make, and I could also add more after my February dailies if I wanted to. This has certainly kept me busy and my creative juices flowing! The perfect fonts you see on the first 3 pages are printed from the computer! One of things I want to do is learn to letter like that!

Anyway, that's it for me, here's Mittsy in one of her favourite poses, and Inky sitting on her favourite spot!

Looking out the door - do I want to go out there? What's Mittsy doing?

Have a wonderful week, stay safe!

Your journal is coming along great! I like the idea of 52 tags a year, I'll have to check it out ~ I try to join in at tagtuesday a biweekly blog challenge to make tags too. I have a portable space heater in my craft room to keep me warm and it works pretty well. Enjoy your week ~ Love, Karen#32

Love your bullet journal, Linda. It looks a fun project. I love your mini-panther sitting on such a small area lol! We used to have a kitty who always lay with one arm extended like Mittsy. We always said she looked like a lady on a chaise longe in a boudoir, and she ought to have a cigarette in a long holder! They do have their individual little mannerisms, don't they. What a lot of snow you have got. We haven't had any yet, and we may not - where we live is one of the mildest places in the UK. It's quite cold though and the kitties were happy with just a short run in the garden today.

Thank you for your visit. Your blender has done very well! I'm absolutely delighted with my new Vitamix - it's a real Rolls Royce among blenders. I've got a Ninja Foodi which is a sort of multi-cooker and it incorporates an air fryer but I haven't had too much success with it so I don't really bother with that aspect of it. I mostly use it as a pressure cooker, and sometimes as a slow cooker (crock pot). It was on twice today - once for a batch of chickpeas and then to make some more veg stock which I make from peelings and offcuts once I've got enough in the bag in the freezer. The pressure cooker is fantastic.

Lol about my green eyes!! Just a bit of fun with my photo editing software, I'm afraid! My eyes are quite back to normal again now, you'll be glad to hear haha! I'm glad you liked our cat puzzle. It was very difficult to do! Someone at church sent us the vaccine joke which I thought was brilliant and worth sharing!

The kitties say "Hi" back.

Happy WOYWW,

I don't get bullet journals, but I think it's just I don't have stuff to put in them! your room looks great, sorry it's too cold to be in there much! I really hope our new lockdown doesn't last too long, everyone has had enough; but needs must! take care and stay safe. Helen #2

Hi Linda, belated happy birthday- and what a star your hubby is! I love Lavinia stamps - my Christmas present from Mr M was a splurge at Lavinia. I had to put a new ring binder into action to hold them all! I've started my first ever journal - not an art or bullet or specific journal, just whatever I fancy on the day. I might add some similar pages to yours, so I can keep track of things, goals, weight (who am I kidding!), things to do. The possibilities are endless! Have a lovely week, and enjoy the snow! Kitties are adorable as ever! I like the mini-panther comparison - that's exactly what they are! Love the white-on-white tag - a good opportunity to play with textures, so the colours don't distract - that's one of my favourite embossing folders as well. Good luck on your weightloss journey - don't think of it as a diet though, but as a lifestyle change - that's the only way it will work long term (or so I keep saying to myself!) Happy New Year, Linda, and thanks for your visit! I wish we had that much snow around here! xx zsuzsa #26

Love the journal Linda. I will be watching this year with interest as I have ordered a couple to work in next year (sticking to the daily drawing idea this year). We had a couple of mornings of snow too but it didn't stick around for long (about a week). Meow to Inky and Mittsy. Happy New Year, stay safe and Happy WOYWW. Sarah #3

Love the white on white tag! It's stunning. And your bujo is coming along - I just don't have the willpower to stick with that, but I so admire them. My daughter loves watching bujo tutorials on YouTube so who knows? Maybe I will get sucked in one day...

Happy WOYWW 2021!
