WOYWW #582

Another Wednesday, time to peek at each others desks and projects! If you want to know what WOYWW is, just go to http://www.stamping-ground.blogspot.ca/p/what-is-woyww.html  and all will be revealed!

Greeting to everyone! I hope everyone is healthy and feeling crafty! Hubby is slowly recovering, not there yet, but he's being very "good" and not doing what he's not supposed to do.

Here is my desk this morning:

And this is a new journal I am trying, using an envelope as the cover. Not sure I like it yet, but I will give it a try!

So today is short and sweet, just how Julia likes it, leaving with a photo from yesterday of my two beauties, you can tell which is which if you look closely...!

And Mittsy in her favourite position in my lap!
Hoping everyone stays well and safe next week, wear your masks and carry on!

I am definitely a mask wearer. No worries on my account, I consider others - unlike some!
Now I like your journal cover, I think it is rather nice and i love the stitching around the edges.
Good to hear hubby is doing as he is told and progressing as a result. The only way to get better is to listen and do as you are told.
Love the kitty photos.
Hugs, Neet xx 3

I'm glad your husband is on the mend, albeit slowly. The cats made me smile, I don't have a clue which is which!! I wonder why you're not happy with the envelope as the book cover? It looks ok to me but sometimes reality doesn't show up right in a photo.

Hi, Linda!
We definitely are mask wearers here! Although, there are so many (don't know if it is stupid, crazy or "anti-establishment") people over here. Most of the grocery stores say masks are required but many just pull them up to get inside. The folks who pull them off are so hostile too!

Nothing to post for me today (other than 2 more Christmas cards) so I thought I'd give folks a break from those.

My husband's leg is getting better too. Still keeps it wrapped during the day, but it hurts less and getting stronger.

Love the kitties.
Keep safe, and Happy Wednesday!
Kathryn

Nice photos of the kitties. Short and sweet is good for me. My hubby and I have been wearing masks all along. I don't understand why there is any objection to it, if it helps to calm the situation it's got to be worth it. Have a lovely crafty woyww, Angela x14x

PS, I've just noticed Inky curled up on top of the cat tree - I didn't spot her at first LOL! They seem to be getting on so well!

Hi Linda. Sorry I am a day late got a bit tied up with paint and phonecalls yesterday!! So good to hear hubby is being good and doing as told by the medics. Certainly my John, after his replacement ops was keen to get better, but did as he was told and ended up with joints that lasted for years! His left knee was replaced when our younger daughter was ten months old, so had done really well with no sign of any trouble before he died 39 years later!!!
Hope you are ale to decide whether you like the journal cover or not... go with it and see what happens?
Take care. God bless.

I never win against envelopes. As soon as I try to do something fancy, the clear section gets yucky. I love the idea of using it as a cover. I hope it works for you. Have an awesome week. Dorlene #29

Mask-wearing is mandatory here in Melbourne - so I have spent much of the weekend mask-making... I am desperate to start a new journal page that I watched an online workshop for... I am sure your journal cover will grow on you - I think it is perfect...

Happy belated woyww!
Stay safe and keep well

I am glad to hear that your hubby is recovering, Linda, and I hope he continues to make good progress. An unusual journal cover! I always love to see pictures of your girlies - Lily and Ruby send meows to them! I feel as if I know quite a few kitties across the globe now, even if I've never actually met them!

Happy belated WOYWW,
