WOYWW #564

Another Wednesday, time to peek at each others desks and projects! If you want to know what WOYWW is, just go to http://www.stamping-ground.blogspot.ca/p/what-is-woyww.html  and all will be revealed!

Hello everyone. I hope all of you are well and secluded away from the virus. If you have to still work outside your home, stay safe and thank you for your part.

Here is my desk this morning: (I just tidied it up)

I've been making lots of cards to send to friends who are shut in as I am. Hopefully it will bring them a little cheer!

I made a whole bunch that I forgot to photograph before I sent them off. Most were like the one above with the bird and wildflower dies.

I am also journaling about the Pandemic, maybe someday it will interest someone, or maybe we can look back and say I remember those days...

What we need right now is some beauty, some semblance of "normal", and my hibiscus gave that to me this week!

Have you seen Patrick Stewart reading Shakespeare Sonnets?

I guess that's it for me, at least more time gives us more time to create!

Lots of good wishes and virtual hugs and purrs from Mittsy, Inky and me, have a great week and stay safe!

Your cards are all so beautiful, Linda, and I love the idea of journaling about the crisis - I love what you have done! Everyone is going to so appreciate your kindness and will be delighted to receive an envelope full of joy through the post to cheer them up during this difficult time!

As for Mittsy ("What virus?") lol lol!! - our two are exactly the same - totally oblivious to what is going on in the world around them! As long as they get their tea and cuddles and plenty of nice places to settle down and sleep together, they are just fine. They send purrs to Inky and Mittsy and to you too, of course!

Happy WOYWW to a relative late-comer this week at #35,
Shoshi x

What a lovely array of cards and what a lovely thought to use them to cheer people up. You have given me an idea of something I could do. Now to make a special card in order to do it. More on the 'idea' later (if it comes to fruition).
I think the coronavirus book/diary is a great idea and one I should have started myself, just a simple line or two each day is all that I need to put, gosh my day is filling up now with ideas - wonder if I can get the other half interested? Doubt it.
Love the hibiscus. The first time I saw one of these plants I fell in love with it and bought one for a friend who was ill. We had a good laugh when she told me she had been sat, one evening, and suddenly the flower popped off and hit her. Neither of us knew that was what could happen. Beautiful, the perfect way to cheer one up is to have a plant like that, so rich a green in the leaves and so vibrant a colour in the flower.
Hugs, to you and yours - stay safe and well

Love the pic of your cat. DH and I were only saying the other day our kitty has social distancing down to a fine art. Sleep, eat, move to the garden when I sit near her favourite seat and demand takeaway on a regular basis. Gorgeous cards . Stay safe and keep crafting.

Morning Linda, what a lovely thought to make cards to cheer our fellow friends up. Our postal service has began to suffer due to this horrid virus but they are still managing to get things to us we just all have to be a little extra patient. All so beautiful but i'm very drawn to the flower just like your hibiscus a beauty indeed. Keep strong & carry on creating we will get through these dark days. Chin tickles to the kitties & Happy WoywW Tracey #19 xx
