Another Wednesday, time to peek at each others desks and projects! If you want to know what WOYWW is, just go to http://www.stamping-ground.blogspot.ca/p/what-is-woyww.html and all will be revealed!
This isn't just any Wednesday, it's our 500th Wednesday! How awesome is that! Happy New Year to all who follow and/or contribute to WOYWW!
Here is my desk this morning:
I turned my desk into a gift wrapping station, and just haven't gotten back to putting it back together yet! Hopefully it will be back to normal by next week!
And, finally, the project I was working on for the last several weeks as a Christmas gift to my daughter:
It has 5 pages, each page has an insert with a 4 page "booklet" of photos, and two pages have inserts that sit behind the photos on the page. All the pages are wither waterfall pages, or flap fold pages of some sort. The book follows her Christmases from the year she was born, to last Christmas. I think she liked it!
We had a wonderful Christmas, sad that it's over, but great memories! So, onto a new year with new projects!
Inky and Mittsy have been getting along very well, they enjoy chasing each other all over the house, and they both were spoiled over Christmas! Mittsy got a new collar, and some new mice (she LOVES the little mice toys!) and Inky got some treats she loves and a new catnip bag. They are now eating together, sometimes even from the same bowl - Mittsy is a little piggy! She has grown so much just over the past couple of weeks!
We all wish all of you the BEST for 2019!! Have a great week!
PS: I had my birthday yesterday - I am now officially a senior citizen!

Hi Linda, what a fabulous gift, she must treasure it. Love the kitty photos. Happy New Year, Hugs, Shaz #5X
Hi Linda, just read your comments, and I'm going to go back and edit my post, as you raised a point I think I should have covered in my post.
You may already be doing/have tried these, so sorry if I'm no extra help. I find some u/m rubber very thin, especially if you are using bare rubber, or the thinner EZMount. These stamps I use on the CLEAR side, as that gets closer to the cardstock. I do find bare rubber can be even thinner than Clear stamps, so have had success using a few sheets of copy paper under my cardstock as a shim. A lady on SCS recently posted that she had great success in helping this by using one of the Silicone Rubber Embossing mats under her cardstock, and speculated that a Silicone Baking Mat- often available in pound/dollar stores, would also do the job. Hoping one of these may solve your issue. Hugs, Shaz X
Ah Linda, no wonder you were so busy before Christmas, what a perfect gift, a treasure for your daughter. How lovely.i too turned the desk into gift wrap central, two and a half days solid wrapping. Argh. Next year I’m going to wrap as I buy, even if it means clearing up between other stuff! Happy New Year to you and here’s to a few more WOYWWS!
Hi Linda, I’m still trawling around catching up and want to do every one on WOYWW 500, getting there!
BTW I joined your blog, hope you might join mine if you haven’t already. I do find these days fewer bother though .. maybe mobile devices?
Great book you made your daughter, too, I had a friend do it for me, I must look through it again.
Hope 2019 is a God blessed year for you and look forward to seeing more of your work. Happy belated WOYWW 500.
