WOYWW #498

Another Wednesday, time to peek at each others desks and projects! If you want to know what WOYWW is, just go to  and all will be revealed!

Wow, it's almost Christmas already! Time seems to fly by so fast this time of year. Everyone ready? I'm almost ready!

Here is my desk this morning:

I am hoping to have my project done today or tomorrow - it's taken a long time!

But I have been decorating:

Above: my Nutcracker collection and a neat Christmas Toy of the Three wise Men, you twist the top so the ribbon winds up and then you let it go!

Below: My Snowman Collection this year is in a tall set of Ikea shelves. The JOY banner was handmade by a friend:

Mittsy wants to help too!

And finally, after a week of hissing and snarling, here are Inky and Missy together!! Inky has finally forgiven me for bringing Mittsy into the house, and is getting back to her old self. Mittsy and Inky chase each other around the house now, each taking turns jumping out at the other! The funniest is to see Mittsy take a running leap right over Inky!

Well, that's it for us, Inky and Mittsy wish you all a "meowverlous Christmas" and we will meet back here on Boxing Day!

Have a lovely Christmas everyone!

Hi Linda, great photos. Had to click on one to get them to show, not sure if the problem is my end or if they're just not showing. Have a lovely Christmas, with love from us both. Hugs, Shaz #5 X

Well I’m very glad that Inky is forgiving you. I cannot for the life of me work out the picture of them both though, I can’t tell where Inky stops and Mittsy starts!! Your decorating is gorgeous, I love your collections, and I know thepleasure you must get from looking on them through out December. I am very much looking forward to the seeing the project! Wish you a very happy Christmas! Xx

Good to hear Mittsy & Inky are getting along now that's a gift in itself. Love your Nutcracker and Snowmen collections, I'm glad I do not have the room for such things as I indeed would collect collect and collect some more.
Cards all posted & the last of the presents to give then I think I will be sorted. Hoping by Sunday I may get a day to reflect before the food prep and family start arriving!!
Happy WOYWW & a Very Merry Christmas to you and yours.

Cats are quite superior when miffed aren’t they but glad that Inky has agreed its not too bad having another puss around! Smiled at your desk, my craft room is clean one day ( cleaning day) then total chaos for next fortnight! So yours is quite comfortable!
Happy belated WOYWW and happy Christmas as we remember the birth of our Lord Jesus.

My word, Linda, what a busy desk! I won’t say messy, just busy lol! Love the pic of Mittsy playing with the bell. I am so glad Inky has accepted her, and forgiven you, too - tremendous news, and it’s happened really quickly, too. When we just had Beatrice and got two new kittens, it took her a whole year to accept them! When they do settle down, it’s great to see them playing happily together, isn’t it. More fun and games with Ruby at our end... Yesterday, after my hubby had fixed the weak spot in the defences, we let them out again, under strict supervision from the two of us, and after a while Ruby found another weak spot and if my hubby hadn’t grabbed her, she’d have been out, over the fence on the other side of the garden! So until he can think of a way to solve that one, they are both grounded again. She is soooo naughty. Lily never even thinks about getting out.

Thank you for your visit and I’m so glad you like what I did to the little hearts! I thought they were really boring when I got them but they were just the blank canvas I needed for altering. Glad you liked the cartoon, too - I’m collecting cat funnies to post for WOYWW!

Happy belated WOYWW,

Hi Linda! Based on the principle that better late than never, here I am visiting from last week's WOYWW! I'm so glad to hear that the two kitties are getting along now - good thing that Mitsy has some white bits so you can tell them apart! Hope you're having a lovely time with your family - might see you again tomorrow! zsuzsa #20 (from last week) ps love the messy desk! Makes me feel better about my own mess LOL!
