WOYWW #815

It's What's on Your Workdesk Wednesday, time for a peek at each other's desks and projects! We are now sharing through Sarah, at Sarah's Craft Shed.

Hi everyone! Last week was crazy with hubby coming home, finally, from hospital, so I had to miss, but today I seem to have a lot to share. Here is my desk, I was shocked! I haven't seen it like this in awhile!

But that doesn't mean I haven't done anything lately...

I have been working in my JIYA journal, and I'm starting to make a new one, as well as working in my Fodder School Project.

Only a few pages left in that journal!

When I was purging tablecloths I found some runners with beautiful blue birds on them, so I used one on the cover of my Fodder School book:

I'm deciding whether to sew it on or leave it as it is, just glued on.

My DD was very generous this year (she always is!) and here is what she gave me (art-wise)

So, of course, the first thing to do is to try out all the colours

That was fun!

Inky got a Christmas present too, a new scratcher to sit on top of! She's still getting used to it, it's a little taller than her old one.

That's it for me today, I hope everyone has a lovely creative week, and I will be around to see what you are all doing starting on Thursday!

What a relief that your husband is back home again, hope he’s recovering well. I think crafting is a great thing to do in times of stress, keeping my hands busy always works for me. You had some beautiful gifts, hope you had fun with them!

I am so happy for you that your husband is back home. I will continue to pray for his speedy and complete recovery.
I love your pages, they are so colorful and so well composed. I never seem to come up with enough ideas to complete more than one or two journal pages. I am starting a class next week, maybe that will help!
Wow, your Christmas and birthday goodies are fab! I have a new set of Windsor & Newton WCs. I almost don't want to use them!

Hope you and your husband have a brilliant week!

My gosh girl, what a month! So very glad to read that Ron is home for good, now he can follow his own timetable. Wishing you both well as he recovers. Relief! Belated happy returns too, Caitlin is a brilliant gift giver, and I love that you chose hearts to sample the watercolours - oh the joy of all those little packets to unwrap and situate!

Oh my life so much yumminess. Adoring the journal and especially the window page, how fun is that! Gorgeous cover to your Fodder school book, I am still pending a fabric book of sorts for my Zen retreat pieces and the felting I am going to do (new freebie online course starting 27th Jan). If the Neocolour weren't good enough the watercolours are AMAZING! I've asked for some W&N tube watercolours for my birthday and spare pans to fit extras in my current tin, whoop whoop. The hearts are fun I will have to do likewise methinks. Your posts always inspire me and glad my dancer made you happy too. Hugs BJ#5

Hey, Linda! I'm back! Thanks for sharing the info about candles and asthma. I only use soy wax in the candles that I give to friends. I have a current order for soy and beeswax mix. I use pure essential oils for scent and I try to keep that at the recommended 6% load. I don't have asthma, but if a fragrance is too strong is affects my breathing. That is probably because of my DM!
Thanks, again,
Hugz,
Chana
