WOYWW #395

Another Wednesday, time to peek at each others desks and projects! If you want to know what WOYWW is, just go to http://www.stamping-ground.blogspot.ca/p/what-is-woyww.html  and all will be revealed!

I hope everyone had the merriest of Christmases! We had a wonderful Christmas, and I was surprised not once, but 2 times! The first surprise was getting a Roku so I can watch Netflix on my TV upstairs, something I've wanted for quite awhile now, totally unexpected, and the other was a new i-Pad! Absolutely was not anywhere on the radar of Christmas gifts! So I can essentially replace my very old laptop with my new i-Pad, I love it!

As far as crafty stuff, I got the Tim Holtz backwards writing stamp set - I used to know what this was for and have since forgotten - anyone? And some Gold and Silver Sharpies, along with some colored ones, and enough UHU glue to last the year! My Mom gave me a GC for Michael's, which if I am smart and use 50% coupons, will last almost all year!

Here is my desk this morning, looking very sad and unused for the past several days:

But at least there is room to do something!

My big news is that I have completed my Artbundance™ Coaching course, and I am now an official ARTbundance™  Life Coach! I am excited to start this new phase of my life, combining art with coaching, and art journaling. My website is almost ready to share, but not this week!

And now for a few Christmas photos:
One of you WOYWWers wanted to see my stairs with all the stuffed Christmas toys we have collected over the years, here it is, with Inky sitting at the bottom. Somehow, she has no interest in knocking those toys down the stairs (I would if I were a cat!)

and here is our other cat, Penny, who absolutely loves Christmas!

That's it for this week, hopefully will have a busier desk to show next week!

Thanks for visiting, and I hope everyone has a FAB New Year!

WOYWW #394

Another Wednesday, time to peek at each others desks and projects! If you want to know what WOYWW is, just go to http://www.stamping-ground.blogspot.ca/p/what-is-woyww.html  and all will be revealed!

Christmas is gearing up, I got most of my cards done and mailed, some I will hand deliver, some will just have to wait for Christmas 2017! I have received all of 4 Christmas cards so far this year (2 handmade from stamping friends), which makes me wonder why I go to all the trouble of making handmade cards in the first place! Hopefully we will get more this week which will restore my faith in humanity.

Here is my desk this week:
The arrows are pointing to the reason for the big stacks of stamps - these bookmarks that were buckling - gifts for brother & SIL

Here are the bookmark gifts for the girls in the family-

Hubby gets a pocket calendar that I re-make the cover, but I haven't done it yet.

Here is what I made yesterday in the kitchen - only 24 calories each for anyone inclined to watch calories over Christmas!

And lastly, Inky watching over me as I'm making my bookmarks!

Thanks for visiting, and have a very Merry Christmas, or a Happy Hanukkah!

WOYWW #393

Another Wednesday, time to peek at each others desks and projects! If you want to know what WOYWW is, just go to http://www.stamping-ground.blogspot.ca/p/what-is-woyww.html  and all will be revealed!

Well, it's finally winter here in Southern Ontario! We have snow that has stayed on the ground, and it's is snowing right now! We were worried a bit that we would have another green Christmas like last year, and that with Global Warming, green Christmas's would be a norm in the future, but this snow will mean we will have a White Christmas! Hopefully not the last one!

I have been busy making Christmas Cards, almost all done, just a few left to mail. My goal is to have them all in the mail by the weekend. The basic idea for these came from Pinterest, and my leftover Christmas paper pad from a year ago - not much paper left to choose from! All the stamps are from the same set by Inkadinkadoo (from Michael's)

This one is also from Pinterest, hers was much nicer, but I got the idea! The snowman stamp is from Viva Las Vegas

Still needs a few finishing touches!

Here is my desk this morning. I am having fun with PicMonkey (an editing program - free! try it!) to create this little collage!

Here's Inky's new spot to sit and survey the world!

Thanks for peeking at my desk this week! Now it's my turn to peek at yours!

WOYWW #392

Another Wednesday, time to peek at each others desks and projects! If you want to know what WOYWW is, just go to http://www.stamping-ground.blogspot.ca/p/what-is-woyww.html  and all will be revealed!

Here is my desk today, still moderately clean! I even found myself putting things away when I was finished yesterday!

I made 3 cards this week so far, one I forgot to photograph, but here are  the other 2:

I found this snowflake I must have done years ago - thought I would use it! It helps to go through your stash once in awhile! I don't even remember how I did it, but it looks like I used a stylus.

I only have about 14 more to go - I better pick up the speed!

I have been busy this week, I'm taking a course on writing an e-book, they promised I would have one finished by the end of the course! So far I have the working title, and the cover done. The fun stuff is first! And I'm almost finished my coaching course!

Decorated my tree today to the music of Trans-Siberian Orchestra's Christmas Eve album - my favorite! But there is something strange in this photo, don't know if I've ever seen it before - do you know what it is?

If you said - hey! There are flowers still blooming out there! You would be correct! Weird. I should tweet Donald about it - Global warming!

Thanks for peeking - I will go peek at your desks now, but not sure I will get to them all this week I missed a few last week...sorry!

That's it for me this week! Hopefully a clean(er) desk will help with the making of more cards!

Thanks for peeking!

Winter has struck here in Eastern Ontario, we have snow, and below freezing weather, however, it is supposed to warm up on the weekend! Inky is not happy cat - she has her outside routine all summer, and now she refuses to go outside!!

Here is my "Nest" this morning, it's quite a trial these days to get to my chair, with all my boxes of stamps piling up around me!

I have to walk very carefully, sometimes I hear things crashing down behind me! Here is my desk this morning:

Quite messy, I think I will have to break down and clean it up!

Here are parts of a card I'm making. . .this is a Hero Arts stamp with an added Santa and Sleigh - one of my favorite and most versatile Christmas stamps!
And here is the card: of course the snow is all beautiful and glittery!

Sadly I had to make Sympathy Cards this week,

And I bought some new Stickles - what a difference a little Stickles makes!

Thanks for looking!
Happy Turkey Day for anyone celebrating tomorrow!

Another Wednesday, time to peek at each others desks and projects! If you want to know what WOYWW is, just go to http://www.stamping-ground.blogspot.ca/p/what-is-woyww.html  and all will be revealed!

I have started making my Christmas Cards, so this is what my desk looks like today:

Here are the cards I have made so far:

This one needs Stickles - which I have lost!! Time to clean my desk...

These are the ones I made at a Stampin' Up Christmas Card class last week:

So, there's my start on Christmas!

Here is Step 2 of my paper towel journal page:
I added Washi Tape as a border- I think it is Tim Holtz tape

Well that's it for today! Short and sweet for a change! Thanks for visiting!
