WOYWW #412

Another Wednesday, time to peek at each others desks and projects! If you want to know what WOYWW is, just go to http://www.stamping-ground.blogspot.ca/p/what-is-woyww.html  and all will be revealed!

Good morning fellow deskers! I hope everyone is enjoying spring (or Fall?) weather where you are! It is just beginning to warm up here in Eastern Ontario!

Here is my desk this morning:

The only thing I've been doing all week is keeping up with  my Hundred Day Project and unmounting (slowly) my letter stamps.

Here are this week's cards from The Hundred Day Project:

If you want to see them as I make them everyday, you can follow me on Instagram @Lindart61

I went for a nice walk this morning, it was so nice seeing the buds on the trees, and the start of new life everywhere. Not many flowers yet, but some. Here is my side yard, where I really never get to look at:

 Forsythia

Scilla

And my wreck of a backyard - the only sun it gets is early morning, so nothing really grows here. I would love to give it a make-over!

I don't see a lot of Inky anymore, just at bedtime when she snuggles in after a long day of being outside! Although she does check in every few hours, and usually naps inside in the afternoon.

That's it for me today, now I'm off to peek at yours!

WOYWW #411

Another Wednesday, time to peek at each others desks and projects! If you want to know what WOYWW is, just go to http://www.stamping-ground.blogspot.ca/p/what-is-woyww.html  and all will be revealed!

I missed last week, dear deskers, because I was very sick, but I'm all better now! I haven't had a bad cold in years, and boom! I was hit with one last week. Sore throat, Laryngitis, stuffed/runny nose, weepy eyes, coughing and sneezing - over and over! I went through a whole box of Kleenex in one day! But I binge watched Netflix, all of The Last Kingdom (thankfully more episodes are coming), Shetland, Dicte, and Marcella. I recommend all of them - the last 3 are detective type stories. But I started a project called The Hundred Day Project, so got a couple of index cards done during that time.

Here is my desk this morning:

As you can see, I have started unmounting my letter stamps. I was wary of how I was going to do this, because of so many tiny stamps, but I had an "aha!" moment and worked it out!

Here is the binder with the stamps:

As I mentioned above, I started working on a new project called The Hundred Days Project, which is making art everyday for 100 days. I chose to do mine on index card separators, which have the little tab at the top. They are very sturdy as well. Here are the first eleven:

These are fun, and don't take too long to make! #2 and #5 have images taken from an art calendar. The portrait on #5 is by Van Gogh, not me! #3 was done when I was watching the last Kingdom, all about the Vikings! I also write on the backs of some of them.

Well, that's it for today, Inky is outside enjoying the Spring weather, although it is a bit miserable and rainy today.

I am now off to visit your lovely desks! Thanks for visiting mine!

WOYWW #409

Another Wednesday, time to peek at each others desks and projects! If you want to know what WOYWW is, just go to http://www.stamping-ground.blogspot.ca/p/what-is-woyww.html  and all will be revealed!

A lovely Spring Hello to you all! Spring is making an effort here in Eastern Ontario, Canada, here is the view from my bedroom window this morning:

Don't let those awesome shadows fool you, the sun is already gone!

Here is my desk this morning:

My "big" purchase this week with the last of my Michael's Christmas gift card were the Dylusions paints! And they were on sale buy 2 get 1 free, so that was great!

I needed a spot to put my binders to I could easily find my stamps, and I also needed a place to anchor my new goose-neck iPad holder so I can make videos - found them both in this rolling TV stand! I actually did make a video - but when I uploaded it, it had a huge watermark that obliterated the whole thing - so much for "free" video editing. I can't get it off until I buy the license to use it. On to the next one. . . hopefully I can show it next week.

And here is my new journal page, I wanted to use all my new Dylusions paints at once! My daughter just got back from Costa Rica, and this page is very reminiscent of Costa Rican or Guatamalan art!

It is very time consuming, but fun!

And here's Inky, looking for that Spring sunshine, here. . .

and here. . .
but 30 seconds after this photo was taken, it was gone. Won't be back today! Oh well . . that's the fickleness of Spring!

Thank you for visiting, I am now off to peek at your desks!
