Another Wednesday, time for a peek at each other's desks and projects! If you would like to learn more, just go to http://www.stamping-ground.blogspot.ca/p/what-is-woyww.html. Maybe you could join our little group!

Hello everyone! I hope this finds everyone healthy,  happy and vaccinated!

Today is my daughter's 35th birthday! I'm so proud of her, and of the little baby girl she gave birth to last week. Due to the lockdown, we still can't see her or the baby.

2 years old

a couple of years ago

I think she grew up rather well! Anyway, enough of that, that's not why you are here! Here is my desk this morning, I tidied up yesterday, it looks much better now!

Still finding stamps I forgot I had!

A new journal page! I haven't done one of these for ages!

The crabapple tree finally bloomed!

Well, short and sweet today. Inky is fast asleep in the window and Mittsy is galivanting outside somewhere!

Have a great week!

Happy 12 year anniversary!

It has been twelve years since our fearless leader Julia started this wonderful group! I haven't been here since the beginning, but I have been here for several years and have made many new cyber-friends over those years! It has been especially wonderful through the Pandemic to be able to keep in touch with people around the world.

This week I have done absolutely nothing, I haven't even stepped foot into my craft room, so if you want to look at my desk, go to last week's post!

I did some gardening last week, and did something to my leg which is very painful, and keeps me from walking without a very painful limp. It is gradually getting better with rest, but I still have a ways to go. I have no idea what I did. And then the other day I tripped UP the stairs and killed my knee and already injured arm, so I was not it good shape.

BUT...good news...

we are grandparents to a beautiful new baby girl, born on May 17th! Her name is Jasper Jane, and she is adorable. I am very sad that we can't see her yet due to the lockdown here, but soon we hope!

So instead of my desk, how about some fox pics...

Baby foxes playing in the road (about 4pm), and Mama fox having a nap in our backyard!

I didn't get around to making an ATC, but here is a postcard from my city, Kingston Ontario

I don't know when this was taken, but it looks much the same now. This is the park in front of city hall, and behind is a marina for all the boats that come in the summer. The fountain is called Confederation Arch and the park is Confederation Basin. In a "normal" summer the park is full of people, bands playing, special events, quite the hub of downtown activity!

Well, that's it for me today, more resting to get my leg healed, and hopefully back to some sort of normal next week. I look forward to seeing everyone's ATC's!

Have a great week! Mittsy and Inky (who are outside enjoying the beautiful day) say "meow!"

Hello! Today is the first sunny, warm(ish) rain free day we've had in awhile now! The temperature will actually go up to 15°C (59°F), a temperature we haven't felt for at least a month!

Well, lets get to desks, I haven't created any art this week, the week has flown by, I only got around to replying to everyone yesterday! I don't know where the days go! In the pandemic lockdown with "nothing" to do and nowhere to go you would think I have lots of time! But I have gotten onto such a scheduled routine of things I have wanted to do, that the days fly by.

So here is my desk, I'm still working on gluing unmounteds and getting them in their proper places.

I do have some tidying up to do!

I have wanted to properly play the piano for decades. I've always had a piano, I've taken a few lessons here and there, but now the the pandemic I decided to give it a real try, complete with daily practicing, so I am taking an online piano course called Piano in a Flash with Scott Houston. I'm already on course 4! The last song I learned was "Great Balls of Fire"! I'm having a great time, learning a LOT, and going at my own pace.

I also go for a walk every day in my quest to lose some weight, which seems to be working. Right now, these are the flowers I'm seeing most of - do you know what it's from?

We have lots of these beautiful trees in my neighborhood, they are Magnolia trees! They bloom before there are leaves on the trees, and last only a couple of weeks.

This is what I see from my backyard window almost everyday...

Papa fox babysitting! This is a close-up, here is the real view

Only one yard over!

Sunday was Mother's Day here, my lovely daughter sent me a surprise...

A Frida Paint-by Number! Should be fun!
And we had a feast from a local restaurant, this was mine:

So delicious!

Well that's it from me today, here is Inky doing her favourite thing
Rooting through the garbage to find a piece of paper to play with! She and Mittsy say "meow" and I say "have a wonderful week"

Mittsy says "Get your Vaccine!"
and "Good for you!" if you have it!

Happy May! The leaves are just starting to burst out, everything is starting to look green again! But it's still cold, Brrr! We had a hard frost the other night, I'm glad I hadn't planted anything!

Today's view (Wednesday) outside my window:

I haven't done much of anything this week, just worked in my BUJO to get it caught up. I'm almost there, at least I have the important pages done! My theme this month is babies, since we will have a new addition to the family sometime this month. Since I don't know if it will be a girl or boy, my colours this month are pink and blue.

And my Craft Room desk is here. I tried to incorporate my stamps as well in my BUJO, and of course, found all kinds of stamps that need glue:

Yesterday (Wednesday) we changed internet providers, and so had no internet for most of the day as they had to install all kinds of things, so this post is very late, and I will keep it short!

Have a great week!
