WOYWW #612

Another Wednesday, time to peek at each others desks and projects! If you want to know what WOYWW is, just go to http://www.stamping-ground.blogspot.ca/p/what-is-woyww.html  and all will be revealed!

Hello everyone in blogland! I hope everyone is well, and if you are in southern USA I hope you are warm! We are actually seeing almost Spring weather here in Southern Ontario, at 0°C (the cats will go out in that for a few minutes!) possibly going up into the plus numbers! And the snow has turned to rain. Bring it on!

Time to show our desks, mine is completely messy today!

Here is the desk in the "cold" room, not so cold lately...I managed to get some ATCs done this week.

and the "warm" desk this morning - looks so cozy!

Here are the ATCs I made, I started with a masterboard, and then cut it into ATC sized pieces. I still have a few more to do.

The numbers have no meaning, except that when I was making my numbers for my Bullet Journal with my new numbers die, there were the pieces left over, like stencils, so I thought I would use them!

And here is March in my Bullet Journal - cats - why mine of course! All the pictures and drawings are from Pinterest and Google. I just made stickers out of them and had fun designing. There's only one page I haven't finished yet. But other than that I'm ready for March!

The numbers were cut from my new numbers die
The sayings at the top of each of the weekly pages are from Tim Holtz Small Talk books-Snarky

I found the cat font on 1000 free fonts

This is my third month of doing my Bujo, and it's getting easier as I find what I like and what I don't like. I'm still waiting for some cat washi tape that I ordered in December to arrive - supposed to be here by March 8. I left room on the edges of the weekly pages for it.

Well, that's it for me. Mittsy has been enjoying munching on my roses lately...and Inky has been enjoying pushing things off my desk...hopefully Spring will come soon and they can get outside! Inky is also at the moment trying to help write this blog...this is after I removed her from the keyboard!

Have a great week, and "meow" from the kitties!

WOYWW #611

Another Wednesday, time to peek at each others desks and projects! If you want to know what WOYWW is, just go to http://www.stamping-ground.blogspot.ca/p/what-is-woyww.html  and all will be revealed!

This is a very sad day for us deskers, as we have lost one of our own to a battle with cancer on the weekend. Shaz Silverwolf was an avid stamper and crafter, a good friend to all, even those she had never met in person, and a delight to look at, with her multi coloured hair! Her husband was her rock, her supporter, her enabler, and her caregiver at the end. I send all my love and codolences to Doug and his family during this sad time, and hope that the memories of Shaz, alive, enthusiastic, and trailblazer will live long in all of us.

Well, we must all carry on, so here are my desks for today.

My cold desk, in the cold room:

And my warm desk where the heating vent is!:

Here is the tag I made for last week's tag challenge in my 52 tags challenge - "bevy of buttons"

and then turned it into Hubby's Valentines card!

This is in our downstairs "powder room", where I have several framed Valentines cards on the wall, and this display of Valentines ATCs

Valentines Day was an event on Sunday (we need those little events, especially now during the Pandemic), we had take-out from a very good local restaurant that we usually eat at on Valentines Day, but...

Anyway I decorated while hubby was out picking up the meal, and then we had a lovely time (he got to have more scotch than usual, and I got to have more wine!) Afterwards we played a game of Cribbage which was nice too!

That's it for me, but I couldn't go before showing you the cutest picture yet...

Have a good week, and "meow"!

WOYWW #610

Another Wednesday, time to peek at each others desks and projects! If you want to know what WOYWW is, just go to http://www.stamping-ground.blogspot.ca/p/what-is-woyww.html  and all will be revealed!

Hello everyone! I hope you all are well, safe and being creative! I especially hope Shaz is doing well. Here in Ontario it has been very cold, and we had a lovely snowfall last night, so everything is lovely and white. I am very proud of myself for going for a walk every day, as I hate the cold. I certainly would never want to jump into Lake Ontario for a swim like Caro! But someone in our neighborhood did just that last week, just before the lake froze over. Brrrr.

Anyway, I am relatively warm in my house where I have 2 desks, one in my freezing cold craft room (I have to open the door in the morning if I want to be reasonably warm in the afternoon in there! And those of you who have cats know why I need to keep the door closed!) and one right over a heating vent in my office.

Here is my cold room:

I have actually been working in here this week! I made a birthday card for my soon to be 86 year old Mom, and a week 5 tag for my 52 tag challenge.

Here is my "warm" desk where I do my Bujo (Bullet journal)

you can see my i-pad, my stencils, my markers on the left and  a new holder for my coloured pencils, and Inky under the hammock. The square basket is garbage. All of my February Bujo pages are done, so I am now thinking of March, which will be a cats theme (so far...). I am also working on "perfecting" my Menu Planning pages.

Here is the birthday card for my Mom:

And last week's tag which was "kisses". The group leader does all her tags in stitching, and since I don't do stitching I thought I would try and incorporate the stiches with stamping, for the cross-stitches across the top. I'm also trying to use an embossing folder on each tag. The cross-stitches are Tim Holtz, the kissers are Viva Las Vegas. I love getting their grab-bags, you never know what's in them, and often how you would ever use them! this is a Banksy stamp, and I had no idea when I got it that I would ever be able to use it! I got several Banksy stamps in my last grab bag!

Next week's tag is "a bevy of buttons"

Inky and Mittsy have been doing a lot of sleeping lately, and are probably more active at night. Last week they spent most of the week chasing after a mouse, who they eventually deposited next to their litter box. Good work girls! Here is Mittsy sleeping on her chair in "her" room.

Well, that's it for me! Inky and Mittsy say "meow" and I say have a great week!

WOYWW #609

Another Wednesday, time to peek at each others desks and projects! If you want to know what WOYWW is, just go to http://www.stamping-ground.blogspot.ca/p/what-is-woyww.html  and all will be revealed!

Hello to all my wonderful friends! I am very excited that on Friday, my blog will be 16 years old! So hard to believe I've been blogging that long!  Not sure, if anything, what I will do that day...

Anyway, once again the cloud is not working, and the photos I took for todays post did not show up on my computer as they should. They probably will when I finish writing this blog! But I had to send them by messenger to myself, which means I can't edit them at all :-(. So we will just have to make do today.

My cold desk (in the freezing cold room of my house)

Not a lot different from last week, still stamping Dylusions images on sticker paper to use in my Bullet journal.

My warm desk (where there is a heating vent at my feet!)

Today Mittsy is in the hammock, but later on it will be Inky. They are so good at sharing! You can see my Bullet Journal (Bujo), and my boxes of markers and coloured pencils. To the right is a square basket which is my garbage, and on top of that is my Dylusions sticker book. The little cat box holds little coloured post it tabs for my menu planning pages. And it's snowing outside, and -10°C. So the cats will not go outside today!

I did make a tag, #4, for my 52 tag project. The theme was "red".

Here are my 3 new small dies, one I used on the tag. They are hard to see, but there are birds on a wire, and a row of flowers, as well as the reeds.

I mostly been working on my Bujo, and I think February is just about finished:

Daily pages

My "gratitude" page

My sleep tracker page

Calories page

My mood tracker page, I will colour in one leaf every day

An Activity tracker page for me and my DD

And this is today's, to make sure I do all these things everyday. I have two unlabeled ones, any suggestions?

I apologize for the terrible quality of the photos, I guess they didn't travel too well in Messenger. Making these pages was fun and funky, and I know we have at least one more Dylusions fan in this group!

Hopefully there will be more action at my cold desk next week, maybe I will find a heater somewhere...

I hope everyone is well, warm and safe, and maybe even vaccinated! Not here yet, it will be awhile...have a wonderful week, Inky and Mittsy say "meow"!
