WOYWW #604

Another Wednesday, time to peek at each others desks and projects! If you want to know what WOYWW is, just go to http://www.stamping-ground.blogspot.ca/p/what-is-woyww.html  and all will be revealed!

Happy Day before New Years Eve! This has been such a lazy week, I apologise for not getting back to people, but...Christmas...after Christmas...you know!

I now seem to have 2 desks to show:

not a lot on this one, I did try out a die I got for Christmas...this room is also freezing cold Brrrrrr

But I started a Bullet Journal, only got this far as of today. I wanted to have a journal where I could use my stamps, and decorate, and all that fun stuff, and I wanted to do it on this desk where I can look outside...and be warm...so desk #2

This is my "name page", I will work on more pages today. It is all done with stamps! Is anyone else doing a bullet journal? This is my first try.

And last but not least, the cats travel to the end of the porch, and after about 15 minutes they've had enough and come in! Mittsy is now sleeping in the hammock on my #2 desk, watching the world go by, just like I do!

Happy New Year!

WOYWW #603

Another Wednesday, time to peek at each others desks and projects! If you want to know what WOYWW is, just go to http://www.stamping-ground.blogspot.ca/p/what-is-woyww.html  and all will be revealed!

It's the day before Christmas Eve! Everyone ready? We will do our Christmas Eve tradition with our DD and SIL over Face Time. Should be interesting!

Here is my desk, last minute gift, using up some of my stamping blocks! This one is for my Mom.

This one is for my brother's fiancée, again using up those blocks!

Here are some photos of my "Entertainment" Tree. Our collection started when our DD went to University, she started bringing back film or TV related ornaments (she was taking film studies in uni). We each got one every year up until last year I think, so the tree is pretty full. Here are some of them:

Many of them move, or make sounds, or talk!

And here are Inky and Mittsy being cute...

I came across this big bump when I went into my room yesterday...It could have been either cat...

It was Mittsy! She was fast asleep before I took this, and promptly went back to sleep afterwards.

(Inky was asleep under the tree...)

I heard there is another form of the virus going around in GB, please stay safe! I can't wait until we can hang our coats up again...

Happy Christmas Eve Eve!

WOYWW #602

Another Wednesday, time to peek at each others desks and projects! If you want to know what WOYWW is, just go to http://www.stamping-ground.blogspot.ca/p/what-is-woyww.html  and all will be revealed!

Greetings everyone in Blogland! I have no idea where the time is going, except that it is going by so fast I can hardly keep up. I'm writing this on Tuesday and will still not have visited many who visited me, and for that I apologize. Hopefully next week will be better.

Here is my desk:

And here is what I have been doing:

I made some magnets for DD and Son-in-law

and a quick card (hence the Distress Ink pads on my desk)

showed hubby how to make shortbread...

Made ginger-molasses cookies (this is round 2)

More shortbread...

made up boxes to give away

and ate way too many myself! All those take-out boxes I've been collecting sure have proven useful!

I have also been decorating, even though it will only be hubby and me:

This is the wooden advent calendar I made last year from one of my wood stamping blocks:

Our basement (Hubby's man cave)  TV/movie tree, decorated with ornaments from movies or TV shows, many are "live action"! I should do a close up of the tree, maybe next week. You can also see hubby's last year's Christmas gift - the race track on the floor.

And what call our "Villiage" (inside joke), which Hubby loves so much he can't bear to take it down each year, so it stays up. But we light up the lights and such for Christmas. One of the buildings is Santa's Workshop that gets turned around at Christmas.

I want to get rid of all our VHS tapes and extend the Villiage to the shelves on the wall. It's very interesting to watch Mittsy walk through the Villiage very carefully, then choose something to knock to the ground!

Well, I'm sure you are bored to tears by now, so I will say goodbye,

here's Mittsy being cute again...

Have a great week! Only 9 more days left...

WOYWW #601

Another Wednesday, time to peek at each others desks and projects! If you want to know what WOYWW is, just go to http://www.stamping-ground.blogspot.ca/p/what-is-woyww.html  and all will be revealed!

Here we are, first post on the road to 700 posts! It was so great seeing most of you last Saturday on Zoom, what a great technology! We learned how to make our own Washi Tape, which I did while we were talking and I put it into the little book I made while we were talking! We got to see everyone's gorgeous dogs and cats! We got to see what many of you have been working on, and if we looked into the background, we saw a lot of your craft rooms! Hopefully we can do it again!

Here is my desk:

Here is the little book I made while talking to everyone on Zoom. It is made from an empty folder that my Christmas postage stamps came in and was too pretty to toss:

and the little piece of Washi Tape I made

This is not my art, but cut from a collage sheet I got so long ago I can't remember where it's from. It might be from a Somerset magazine insert.

And I finished my latest journal, a lot of you saw this on Zoom, feel free to pass over it all...

another Christmas postage stamp folder booklet

this white page bothered me so there is now something on it...

This journal is a gift for a friend, I hope she likes it!

So that brings us to an end to today's adventure, as it is, and here's Mittsy, being her cute little self tucked into a tiny space beside my bed.

I hope everyone has a great week, and congratulations on the UK getting the vaccine! I hope everyone gets a jab soon and life in the UK gets back to normal.
