WOYWW #813

It's What's on Your Workdesk Wednesday, time for a peek at each other's desks and projects! We are now sharing through Sarah, at Sarah's Craft Shed.

Happy New Year to everyone! The last time I posted, my hubby had a minor stroke, so I have missed a couple of weeks, but I'm back! I was also very sick from Boxing Day to essentially yesterday. My hubby was back in the hospital (he was able to come home for 2 days over Christmas), and the kids had just gone back home, so I had a week to myself to lay in bed, watch Netflix and feel sorry for myself all alone. But I'm back, hoping to get into my art room this week and do some purging. I have so many things I do not use anymore.

Today is my birthday, luckily hubby is home again for 2 days, so I'm not alone. But he has to go back tomorrow. He should be back home for good sometime next week.

Anyway, I hope you all had a better Christmas, with no illnesses, and lots of family!

Here is my desk this morning, having not really been touched since Dec 10th:

Christmas Cards made but not sent due to a Postal Strike, and a general mess. Luckily I only made a few cards.

Christmas was lovely with kids coming here instead of us going to them this year. Christmas morning, so beautiful with the snow!(it's all gone now🙁).

On Christmas Eve I gave everyone matching jammies, except I couldn't find the matching bottoms for us gals, just the tops. Here is Jasper (now 3 1/2!) with her Mom and Dad:

That's it for me today! I hope everyone had a great Christmas, with lots of artsy gifts. I have one coming in the mail from my DD, a Windsor & Newton big set of watercolours!

No pics of Inky and Mittsy today, but they wish, and I wish you all a Happy New Year!

Hi Linda, so sorry you’ve had a rough time. You’ve written such a cheery post otherwise! Lovely matching jammies! Bella plays with her donut, scratches at it and chews it. I’m not sure how long it will last but it was added to a Temu order for pennies. I hope your husband’s better soon. Wishing you all a happy, healthy and creative new year!
Hugs

Hi, Linda! Sorry to hear about your husband's illness but it is nice to hear that he is on the mend and should be back with you soon!

In spite of it all, you seem to have had a fabulous time with your family. I got my second set of Windsor and Newton WC I have yet to use them!
Be well,
Hugz,

Oh sorry to hear of the illnesses with your hubby and yourself, nice that he was able to come home for a few days to be with you over Christmas and your birthday. HAPPY BIRTHDAY. My hubby had a nasty virus leading up to Christmas, I've had a few days feeling rough but then OK. Just had son here for a few days over Christmas, that's all the family we have really. I find it quite a stressful time to be honest and glad to get back to near normal....SNOW for Christmas day how amazing and matching PJs is a great idea. The watercolour set will be fab, I've had my eye on that make for a while. Hugs BJ#10

Sorry to hear about your husband and your illness. I will pray for his recovery. Years ago my sister had a couple of very minor strokes, but she has been fine since then. I am glad you like my ladies - I hoped you would 😊. Happy New Year and happy WOYWW. Angela #9
