It's What's on Your Workdesk Wednesday, time for a peek at each other's desks and projects! We are now sharing through Sarah, at Sarah's Craft Shed!

The end of June has come so fast! Happy Summer to everyone (or winter...!) I have 2 shots of my desk to show this morning, today:

Looks so neat and tidy! Was I even in my art room this week? Well...

I did get a few things done this week. I was finishing up Laura Dames's collage lesson for Fodder School 1 (May), and decided to do Roxanne's accordion book. Here is a "can you spot the difference" game...

I love this little collage book, I might make another one! The pages are about 4X5".

I started my next Fodder School 1 Lesson, June, with Tracy Wozniak, which was organizing and using up all your bits and pieces of fodder. It started with making a masterboard. Another "spot the difference" game!

And then I chopped it all up! More ATC's!

A little more work on them and they are good to go! Tracy is encouraging us to give these away randomly to all the people in our lives! Sounds like a good idea! Apparently there are several ways to make a masterboard, so that will be on the agenda for next week!

Well that's it for me this week, I was in another concert last night with my Shout Sisters Choir, so much fun!

Inky and Mittsy are still on Fox Watch, the foxes seem to be coming by every morning, but are learning to steer clear of our lawn! Hubby has started to get in on the Fox Watch, sitting with them on the porch in the morning. Well, I hope everyone has a wonderful week! We are having a lovely summer's day today, and are looking forward to a visit from DD and DGD Jasper this weekend!

It's been a bit of a slow week in the art room! Here is my desk this morning:

Looks like I've done nothing all week! But I have been busy "mark-making" for my next collage project from Fodder School 1:

And here are my papers ready to collage:

I also did another page in my Little June Journal:

I need to step it up, I have more journal pages left to do than days that are left in June!

Sunday was Father's day, Mittsy and Inky gave their Daddy a T-shirt!

And lastly, a view of our porch where I often have lunch, such a peaceful place! Inky usually spends her days in that chair!

Well, that's it for me. We are in a heat wave this week, but the AC is so cold I'm always freezing! Have a great week, Mittsy and Inky say "meow" to their kitty cousins!

It's What's on Your Workdesk Wednesday, time for a peek at each other's desks and projects!

I don't have much to show this week, as we have been away with no art opportunities. we went up to Northern Ontario, called "The Muskoka's" which is very beautiful and richly forested, with lots of lakes and cottages. We were there for a memorial service for our niece who passed in December, so not a happy event. But the drive through the Muskoka's was incredibly beautiful.

Here is my poor little desk this morning...

I did manage to get one page of my Little June Journal done:

Recognise anything BJ? I used some of BJ's images that she shared a few weeks ago!

I didn't take photos of our trip through the forests, as the car was going so fast, but we did stop at a really nice restaurant in a place called Bancroft, a lovely mining town. By this time we were out of the Muskoka's, but the view was still very nice.

The place was called "The Granite", and was an old mansion left over from when Bancroft was a major mining town. It has a beautiful view of the town so it was probably owned by the owner of a mining company. The food was wonderful!

Last night I went to a Pot-Luck dinner for the choir that I am in, in one of the women's backyards. It was huge and had this beautiful pond in the middle of it!

Beautiful Pond

It was such a lovely backyard, something you could live in all summer long! Oh well, my backyard is so tiny that we never use it.

I hope everyone has a lovely and creative week! Inky and Mittsy are outside keeping an eye out for the fox...she's getting pretty bold these days!
